Terrific Tuesday Roll Call
Good morning Nicole and everyone - Nic- I am sure you are NOT sick....(I try tot ellmyself thattoo - and I amusually wrong = but hey...it never hurts to try right?!?!) You and I have the same crazy Tuesday's this year! NUTSO!!!!!!!
Feeling pretty good this morning. Had a nice conversation with an old friend last night and that always makes me smile. Larry is HOME tonight - so more smiles there. I am headed off to school, then home to get Emily, then to Hebrew School where there is a parent meeting this afternoon, then Confirmation Acaemy tonight in which there is a Parent open house and a parents meeting, therefore I am sure there will be plenty of parents in my classroom tonight. I am pretty proud of my lesson plans for tonight and REALLY hope the parents get involved with their 10th graders. Should make for interesting adult conversations about the Arab-Israeli conflict....I LOVE talking with 10th graders about this topic. Always opens my mind up a little more - and I think that I am pretty open-minded to begin with. Nothing like a young person's perspective on things.

I'm enjoying some quiet time this morning, with my cats, coffee and book. No plans beyond that. Maybe some treasure hunting later, if I'm up to it. Had a lot of knee pain yesterday, so I don't want to pu**** too much.

Good morning everyone!
Yesterday turned out pretty well, the dr. said CAT scan and everything I am going through is perfectly normal. Food getting stuck should go away over the next few weeks as the stoma loosens up a bit.
Today I am going to get my nails done! I have always worn nail extensions (that's the Jersey still in me), but I have left them off this year in anticipation of surgery. So I'm getting them back this morning. Then off to the store for to see how many people spent the weekend cleaning out their closets, last Tuesday was crazy!!
Then tonight more PHILLIES kicking butt!!

Yesterday turned out pretty well, the dr. said CAT scan and everything I am going through is perfectly normal. Food getting stuck should go away over the next few weeks as the stoma loosens up a bit.
Today I am going to get my nails done! I have always worn nail extensions (that's the Jersey still in me), but I have left them off this year in anticipation of surgery. Nicole -- I know that you are struggling right now and truly aren't feeling well (healing thoughts out to you) but know that you are a strong person and will make it through all of your issues. We are all around if you ever need to chat. Also, so glad that your uncle made it to his medal ceremony today.. you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Today I'm filled with apprehension as I'm not sure where they day is going to take me. This afternoon I have a procedure that is going to be done on my hip. I have been struggling with a small open wound track that opened recently from my hip surgery in March. Turns out it's fat degradation ... no infection, but i have to go in and have the areas around the wound excised under local anesthetic so it will heal from the inside out. It's not a huge procedure but the fear of the unknown always makes me very apprehensive...
After the procedure this evening I have dinner with a friend and support group tonight here in Delaware. All of this on top of a Dr's appointment for my husband and his regular Tuesday night bowling league. So much for spending out 9th anniversary together :)
