Moving Monday

What?  No one has yet posted  the exercise thread for today?  Wow. 

Today was the start of week 2 of Commit to be Fit.  We met at Central Park in Doylestown for a BRUTAL workout... first we ran the mile course, stopping and doing aggressive exercises at each of the stations.  (basically interval training)   Then we stopped on the grass and did a bunch of crunches, bridges, planks, and such...(rinse and repeat)  THEN, we ran the half-mile course all out with a sprint finish.  A nice walk to cool down and then a bunch of stretches. 

Tomorrow's strength training.

So... what have you been doing to move today?

Treadmill - 5 min warmup. 15 min run, 10 min walk on a 5 incline and 5 min cooldown followed by 10 min on the rowing machine and crunches on the excercise ball - gearing up to get back in to the insanity dvd's....

I just did my 2 1/4 mile walk in 40 minutes again tonight.  I'm trying to do it at least 5 times a week.

wow Karen that is no joke! 

I did some boxing drills with jason. Worked up a sweat but ran out of time to walk. Foot hurts anyway probably a good idea to skip a walk

Yesterday was my first day lifting weights in over three months.

I feel like a rubbery mess today, but still hit up the elliptical in the morning, which helped a bit.
