Outfit and Attitude of the Day

My attitude for today is one of contentment. I am moving forward with different things in my life each day and realize that baby steps are necessary but each step is one step closer to my goal of being a better me. Each day has a focus and that makes me feel happier than I have been in a long time!

As for my outfit today I am wearing a lil denim dress I picked up for $8 at 2nd Avenue with the tags still on it! Soooo cute! It has a belt which I like because it emphasizes my waist. (Still trying to love my butt--I think I may have moved up to liking it at times tho... :-)

A pair of red cowboy boots and my hair will be in soft full curls today with a smoky smoky eye and red lips.  I like this outfit because it is actually something I would not have ever had the confidence to wear before...now today I will be rocking it!! LOL

What is your attitude today? What will you be wearing to feel good???

Much luv!!
Laura

Laura I so wish you were around to do my makeup LOL you always look good.

Today I wore black pants and a funky black and gray striped shirt. Black is my power color I need it today as I am in charge again. I am choosing this morning the attitude of empowerment, what needs to be in my life will only come about by ME making the choices and putting things in action. So I choose to be empowered

I'm working at home today and feel BURIED already....should have put in some hours this weekend, but didn't.

My attitude is sort of "oh ****" right now.

So I will be wearing something simple - jeans and a polo or t shirt, I guess. And just hunkering down.

I love this post!  I read it everyday and have been trying to convince myself that I need to post.  Thanks so much Laura for doing the thread daily.  Seeing your confidence and great sense of style has convinced me that I need to find my own.

My attitude for the day is one of happiness as today is the 1st of my final 3 days of PT... I can't wait for that to be over.  But it's also mixed with nervousness.  I will be going in tomorrow under a local to have an open wound track excised on my left hip.  Thanks to fat degradation I will have an open wound on my hip for a while before the plastics people decide to sew me back up.  But I have to take confidence in the fact that this is the right thing to do and go from there.

As for what I'm wearing... I'm trying to find my own personal style.  It's no where near where I want it to be right now ... but as I'm finding myself i think it will follow.  So for today I'm wearing my size 24 (non-stretch) Tommy Hilfiger carpenter jean with a white polo with my usual sandals and a baseball cap.  Add my heart necklace and my purse and I'm not so much of a tomboy today.

One of these years I hope to be able to learn the whole make-up thing.  Nothing dramatic... just something I look good in.

Have a wonderful day.

Kris, I just finished 6 weeks of PT after arthroscopy on my knee.

Fun, isn't it?

A blast... (not).  Therapy for me has been off and on since the beginning of the year.  I'm so glad things have taken a turn for the better and I don't have to go back. ... at least for now.

How is your knee doing?

My knee is doing well. Just herard of some one who had this procedure done, did not go to PT, and reinjured the knee. Makes me think there is truth to all they say about building strength!

Good Morning Lauraanne,
My attitude is one of frustration...my dryer is on the fritz.  Last night it did not stop when it should have.  Now, it is not working at all.  The frustration is that my apartment looks like a hurricane hit it, so I have to get things in order before I call my landlord to come look at it.  I am trying to get things organized, but things are so expansive and my apartment is so small.  I need to start purging things.

My outfit will change.  Right now, I am wearing a t-shirt and jean capris.  I am going to hit the pool this morning and change into something else that is casual.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
