Morning all. Home today visiting with my sister and b-i-l. Busy day yesterday with company but a fun day. Today I finally see the thyroid doctor to get the results of my biopsy - anxious to get those results. After that I'll be picking up my Mom's ashes to take them to the cemetery tomorrow to be interred with my dad.

Morning all.  I have been up since 3 since I had to leave for the airport at 4:30.  Caught the 7:30 flight to Hartford and now I am waiting for my 11:45 interviews.  I hate to kill the time but I was more afraid of a flight delay that could have made me miss them, lol.  So I found a HotSpot here at a park 2 blocks from the office and am sitting in the groegeous sun, getting windblown, wasting time online.

I should be done aroun 4 and am set to catch the 6 pm flight back to Baltimore.  That should put me home around 8:30 or 9 tonight.  It is a long day but I figured it would be less stressful than a 6 hour drive up and back which because of timing would probably have led to at least one overnight stay.

So, no gym today but I am doing quite a bit of walking.  Grabbed water at the CVS here and brought my protein bars.  Plan to eat at the "saloon" in the airport and grab a chicken breast for dinner. Figure today will not be my best food day, but I think I can make it work.

Hope everyone has a good one.  I have to say, this sitting in the sun working on a netbook/laptop thing rocks.  Wonder if I can convince the powers that be that we should all be able to work this way?!?

Back to reality this wek vacation is over! It was a great week in Myrtle Beach with awesome friends and family. I met Dennis' Mom, britehr Garry ( he never told us how good looking his brother is), nieces and AUnt Ola. I loved them all and think Ma Ruth liked me too ;)

I even went horseback riding on this trip never thought I would do that but we did and it was a blast.

Back at work today then after work I need to pick up my mail from my Aunt's house then check on a friend having surgery today. Get some bills paid and attempt to organize the house this week.

Good morning Trish and PA!

Well I wasnt on this weekend so I will give a rundown of my weekend for your viewing pleasure.  This weekend was both good and bad and then probably good again.  The good parts were that I was looking pretty great in my suit and I had a great time dancing at a wedding I was at on Saturday.  I didnt get tired after one song and could have stayed out dancing all night I think.  The bad part was all of the food triggers I had to endure both saturday and sunday.  Lets see, they had a great cookie, bread, liquor, cake and carby food selection at the wedding.  Then on Sunday we let my son pick out the menu for his birthday party and he picked pizza, wings, chips, cookies and of course cake and ice cream.  I think there may have been only like 2 or 3 of my favorite things that didnt show up in front of me this weekend.  I was able to resist pretty easily but it was pretty frustrating.  I dealt with some resentment toward those people who could eat and drink to their hearts delight.  I know its not fair, they didnt do anything to deserve it but it was there none the less.  That feeling passed pretty quickly as well, thankfully.  Im sure most of you have experienced this before and I know you understand.
Also, take a look at my stats below.  Im feeling pretty good about them!  (Thats the good part about resisting temptation!!!!)

Have a great Monday everyone.

Thanks JoAnn!!!!  I do have a hard time believing it sometimes.  When I realized I was more than half way to my goal weight I was like "holy **** when did that happen?"  Although its sometimes a little bumpy...the ride is worth it!
I hope that since youve begun to change things up you see the results you're looking for.  Keep your timer handy!!!  You are very close to reaching your goal.  Keep going!

So, I am at work – don’t want to be here.  Am REALLY in need of my upcoming vacation next week.  Looking forward to our trip to Portland and Seattle – I think the week before vacation is always hard – you WANT to get things done and in order as if you are going to be away for a month.  The reality is, have you EVER experienced a vacation in which things really progressed much while you were away? No, things are usually just as you left them without any major crisis having been experienced because you were away for a week.   I do have a Wow from this past weekend though, I took my 15 year old niece for our annual back to school shopping trip (I know, a little late..) and this year, I was actually trying things on too… Previous years, I just sat outside of the dressing room waiting for her to come out and model… Now, we both went in to the dressing room and modeled for each other. It definitely made it a much more fun trip. Not much else going on Have a great day PA!
