Manic Monday Roll Call

Good Morning PA,

I am up late making a potty run…darn furosomide is barely kicking in.  My feet are still swollen pretty bad..

Monday has me mailing some letters, and making some copies of my retirement application.  I also must hit the bank for a certified check to mail to my son, as I am buying his laptop, and dumping this piece of junk I am using now.  I bought this computer before I started grad school, which was in 2002.

I also must get to the gym for a swim, and my AA meeting for my sobriety.

I am so grateful for the sobriety I have and the peace I am experiencing right now.

Have a blessed day.

Hugs,

Trish

Hi Trish glad you are experiencing some peace of mind.

Today I am working, had a bit of a rough patch this weekend, feelings got hurt but I will get over it.  I am on my kick butt back on track program today. I am excited. I feel so much better when I have a plan in place. I am too ADD to be left to my own devices. Wish me luck. Will probably do some boxing ( no foot work still have a bum foot)  and do some journaling and make some more plans. My Uncle Wayne is hanging in there, looks like he will definately make his medal ceremony we are thankful for that. I hope you all have a great monday, trying to be happy to be alive, employed, and loved. Really how can I complain?

Good Morning Trish & PA:

I'm working from home today.  Been on the computer since 5am.  I am planning to get a shower and head to the gym @7am.  I have an ultra sound later this morning so lots of water prior to that one to make sure my bladder is full.  Then a dentist appointment this afternoon to follow up from last months oral surgery.

Yesterday we accomplished all that we'd set out to do.  As usual the weekend was too short.

Hope everyone has an awesome day...

Ida

Hello all:

Ok so last week or so has been very hectic at work.  little time to post and say hello or even post my food.  But Hopefully this week won't be so bad.

Today i'm working on my project then going to the gym for my normal 1 hr run.  I cannot wait till these runs are over and I can do other things like zumba and body pump and and and...  But for now.. I train.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi all,

Today is starting out trying.  We are down to one car with gas so we have to decide which important errand to eliminate.  I am hoping a check we have been waiting for will get deposited.  I have to run by the hospital to drop off some paperwork, go to Wellsboro to sign other paper work and other duties.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Good morning Trish and everyone else....

Trish -- I'm so glad that you are starting to experience some peace for yourself.  It has definitely been a long road for you and hope you start to feel better soon.

Today had me up early, but not as early as I needed to be, in order to get my morning routine done.  I get frustrated with everything I have to do in the mornings sometime. But i know that it has to be done for my own health and well being.  So as frustrated as I may get ... it will get done.

Today on the agenda is the 1st day of my last 3 days of physical therapy for my shoulder before I go on a home program.  I can't tell you how happy i am that this is coming to an end.  Let's just hope that it continues to work and my range of motion doesn't start to get worse again.  After that it's home to get some cleaning done and dinner at home tonight with the hubby.  I'm trying to take the low key moments when i can get them because the rest of this week isn't what one would consider light.

Everyone have a wonderful day and be safe.

Good Morning Pa., & Trish,
Congrats Trish on your sobriety, and your new retirement.  You still seem to have more than enough to keep you busy,  when one chapter in  life ends, another begins.
This week is gona be a long one.  Daughter and family were away most of the weekend, leaving me with the little one, she has been so cranky, now we know why, chicken pox!!!  I was to go home today after my dentist appointment, but I can't leave my daughter here alone with three kids, and one that can't go out.  The kids go to private school, and need to be dropped off and picked up,they need to be accompanied into the building, with Deliah not being able to go, it would leave her in a bind not to mention going nuts staying in all week with her.  At least she can get out if I stay.  (good thing my husband understands that I will have to delay coming home till at least this weekend.) I have my nine month checkup next Monday, and must go back to Pa for that.  I am starting to have some skin integrity issues from the excess skin.  (the beginning of documentation for plastics???)  Maybe not, just around the area I thought would be a problem, my bellybutton.  Here's hoping the other two kids don't get the chicken poxs too, or they will have to medicate my daughter and I for having to be stuck inside with them.  Hope everyone has a good day, and the strength to cope with any issues you may face today.
Hugs Ena

Ena,

Sorry to hear about Delilah!  No fun!!

Wanted to let you know what I learned about getting plastics covered.  I was hoping to have a tummy tuck when I had my hysterectomy this summer, so I had a plastics consult.  The surgeon told me that insurance pays for tummy only if the panni hangs completely over the pubic area and you've had skin issues that haven't responded to other treatments.  I would suggest documenting everything and also having your doc document to see if you can get it covered.
