Good Morning Pam, and PA,

I tried to post something earlier, but was too tired to have my sentences make any sense.  I am not in pain, like which is a good thing, I just hate having to be super cautious about the meds.  I guess it is better to be safe than sorry.

Today, I am supposed to go into Philadelphia to see a play at the Walnut Street Theater.  We shall see if this comes to pass.  I really do not feel up to is, but need to do something a little fun for a change.

I hope everyone stays safe and makes healthy food choices.

Hugs,

Trish

Good Morning Pam and PA!!

Sorry you woke up unrefreshed :-( I was awoken by a pounding headache at 5:30am (no it wasn't Steven! LOL!!) So, I got showered and dressed and came downstairs to drink some coffee hoping that it would help my headache and it did!! YEAH!

Dee woke up early. She seems to be recovering well from her dental work yesterday. She was a real trooper! She had two crowns, two fillings and two baby teeth taken out(which were loose anyway).

Today we are going to take it easy and stay home since it is Yom Kippur! I am not that observant but I won't do any business today....maybe a nap will happen for me later!!

Steffi, this is supposed to be a day of rest! SLOW DOWN GIRL!!!

Take care all!

Good Morning!

Well I got to sleep in a lil late (till 8:15 lol) just waiting on coffee now! Did not have a chance to post yesterday because it was crazy busy with my kiddies...we had a fire drill, a birthday treat at recess for one of the kiddies, and art with paint! Exhausting..but I made it through the first full week and am soooooo happy! My class seems to be a much better group than last year so even though there are more children they seem to get along a heck of a lot better!

Then right after school drove out to see my brother, sister in law and niece for a lil shopping at 2nd Avenue and dinner. It was nice but the drive is killer sometimes...lots of construction so it takes almost an hour...but well worth it to see my niece and fam!

Today has me cleaning my place, doing laundry and then running to the store, then to Payless , and then back home...may hang out with a friend tonight or may just veg out and read.  we shall see....

Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Much luv!

Just popping in for a moment - haven't checkind in regularly for a while, but I read every day to keep up with you all.

I am going to get dressed and sit outside for a while in his beautiful weather. Then...have to work a few hours. I blew off part of my afternoon yesterday to do errands. Ended up buying a dress for a wedding we are attending in a few weeks...the 3rd try at finding a dress, but I think I got it this time! (black jersey with a little beading, size 8 petite!)

Tonight we have a conference at church...well, in Harrisburg actually. Mike goes early for an executive session, so that gives me a little time to browse at Target or Marshalls, then I will join him for the session. We will treat it as a date night!

Good Morning Pam & PA:

What a busy week is all I can say.  I start back to school in two weeks cannot figure out how I'm going to manage that and working.  How did I do it the last time, it was only 4 months ago that I graduated.  It will all come together.  I received my first "set" of books yesterday.  All I can say is I have a lot of reading to do.

Today, I've been awake since 5am.  I forgot to turn off the alarm last night.  It was nice just laying there listening to all the birds and then watching them all fly over the house.  Wonder where they were going?

Right now Gene is preparing his lecture for his class.  I'm learning so much  as I read and help out with the power point presentations he presents to his class.  It's too late to change my mind and go into Systemic Family Systems.  All my courses have been geared toward business, too late to change that focus.

Later this afternoon we are heading to Jersey to go to my daughter & son-in-laws.  My SIL called me during the week.  Things are not good with the kids.  He asked me if I could take to my daughter.  Knowing my daughter as I do, I knew she would not return my calls or answer my texts.  I've sensed for awhile now that something is amiss down there as has Gene.  So we are heading over there today, Gene is coming with me to talk to both kids.  I know it's not all on one when things start happening in the marriage.  I also know that the kids moving in my ex-husband when he decided to stop paying his rent and lost his house 2 years ago is also not helping the kids.  My God they will only be married 4 years next month and for 2 of those years they've had her dad living with them.  I can only imagine what that is doing to their marriage.  I know they are dealing with a lot of stuff in the baby department.  They have both had to face that they will not have children.  My SIL has problems - and my daughter has POCS.  The Ob/Gyn told them the only way they will have children is by artificial insemination.  They have gone through the process once.  Since my daughter got mad and quite her "well paying" job no insurance so no more fertility treatments.   There are times she is so much like her father.  And now with him living there, she is regressing back to all the old "family systems and rules".  It makes me sad to see this happening.  She was doing so well.  She's also quit college and refuses to go back.  So after all my long windedness, Gene is going with me, he is not as close to this old mess as I am and will be much more objective with the kids.  And Gene is a trained professional and not her parent.

Sometime this weekend we have to go clothes shopping for Gene.  He has not done much shopping in about 3 years so it's time to update and replace stuff.  And while out I'm sure if I see stuff I'll be shopping as well ;-)

Hope everyone enjoys this beautiful day....

Good afternoon all - been a busy morning so I'm just now getting on line. Usual Saturday morning stuff - some cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. Had to have the dishwasher repair guy come today - electronic board needed to be replaced ($180) but its only 5 years old and the part was actually under warranty - that was for his time and travel. I'm in the wrong business - he was here all of 15 minutes.

Not much going on for hubby and I today - quiet here. My sister and b-i-l went down to Maryland to watch 2 of their grandchildren play football - nephew is ou****ching football all day at a friends house, so its just the two of us. I'm doing laundry and waiting for my daughter to skype me from Seattle - I miss them so much and its fun to be able to see her when I'm talking to her - technology is an amazing thing.

That's about it for me - I see a nap in my future...
