But I feel like I'm still a newbie!!! lol People tell me I don't look like I needed the surgery, so I show them my before pics, and they're surprised. Looking at those pics keeps me grounded.

I still feel like an old timer but need to reset my mind set as a newbie. I have started slacking off of course my RA is not helping me. Enough about me. I know what you mean that people think that we did not need the surgery but you know and I know what quality of life we were leading as morbidly obese adults. Congrats again!

Thank you, Donna!!! It's funny---I'm not proud of what I've done or how far I've come. I just see it as doing what I needed to do to get healthy. I try to follow the rules so I don't go back where I was. (And besides, I gave all my big clothes away, so I'd have nothing to wear if I go back! lol)
