Freaky Friday Roll Call
Morning, all!
It's been a really busy week for me, hence not a lot of roll call posting - focused more on the workout posts.
I'm at work today, hoping to leave at 4, then running to Lowes for plumbing supplies, grabbing a quick dinner out somewhere, then home to meet with the insurance guy (life insurance adjustments due to eddie's change in coverage from not working FT). Tomorrow and Sunday I will be running to a chasing workshop in Ottsville that I had completely forgotten about (found myself triple booked for Saturday and double-booked for sunday this week, sigh.). Given my stress level right now, i would LOVE to get out of the workshop if I coudl get a refund, but likely can't at this late date.
So I have to say that after the first week of Commit to be Fit, my body feels amazing. SORE, yes, but amazing - tighter, stronger, and more toned. I can really feel the effects of this program. Can't wait until next week. No real movement on the scale yet, but that's not surprising, especially if i'm going through fat-to-muscle conversion (and it sure feels like it), and I will NOT take measurements again until the end 3 weeks from now. All I can really go by is how I feel. Energy level is great and the mood elevation is really market... I went in there in an angry, depressed mood yesterday and walked out feeling sooooo much better! Yay endorphins!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and for the Jew Crew I wish you all blessings and peace on your holiday.

Hey all!!
Met a former colleague for breakfast today, which was nice. I'm just hanging out at home for a bit till I go 'babysit' my friend's grandson. I'm really just a warm body in the house so he has somewhere there.
Paul and Anson will be getting here sometime later tonight. I tried to send them to the beach for the weekend, but Anson has a football game tonight. (He's in marching band.)
Have a great day!!! Peace, strength, and hugs to anyone with struggles!

Well – I am way late to the rollcall party, but figured I would post anyway – I posted about my 9 month post op visit – it went well (see separate post) – Am at work and am bored.. well, I mean I have work to do, but I am completely in a DWTDS frame of mind (Don’t want to do sh….) frame of mind right now. If I am not overburdened, I have a hard time focusing on getting things done – strange, I know.
Tonight I am catching up with my husband and a few friends after work. Only after I head to the ice rink by my work to pick up my husbands hockey bag that he left at the rink – oh joy – over an hour ride home with the hockey bag in the back of the car….yummy.
Am taking my niece for our annual “back to school" shopping trip tomorrow (a little late..). I look forward to it every year – so does she. It is an aunt’s job isn’t it? Lucky for my nieces and nephews that I don’t have kids of my own and I spoil them
xoxo,
Maura

Maura,
Yes, it is an aunt's job to spoil the nieces and nephews. My niece and nephew are adults and I still like to do things with them.
Where is your husband's ice rink? I live a couple of blocks from Grundy, but also know of a rink in Feasterville. Just being nosey.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
