***Thursday Work Outs***
I saw the menu post and the roll call...didn't see this one If I'm repeating it, sorry!
Did the 5:45 spin class today. Was SUPER challenging A) I was on 4 hours of sleep, B) I had never spun w/ this instructor C) Her moves and class were intense. She did show us some moves I had not seen before that REALLY worked the core, which was just so fabulous after my personal trainer ripped the crap out of my core yesterday. "hurts so good" or something like that lol

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
I did my hour on the treadmill this morning, which was exhausting. Between surgery and being away for a few weeks, I haven't had an intense workout, although we took walks almost daily. I ran part of a lap but didn't want to pu**** yet. After the treadmill, I tried to do some crunches. I only did a few, though, because of stomach pain. I think it's just from not working those muscles, or using them differently, for all these weeks. Will keep at them to see if I can work out that soreness.

Tonight was "commit to be fit" day 4 - end of week 1 (now "off" for 3 days, with a recommended cardio workout sometime over the weekend).
Tonight was strength, mostly focused on upper body and core - Warmed up with 10 minutes on a different kind of elliptical "cross core" trainer... Followed by an hour of circuits with 1 minute rotations repeatedly through a ton of different things with and without weights. Ended with a great stretch session. I will be lucky if I can raise my hands tomorrow - a lot of it was shoulder and arm work and boy did it BURN!!!
it will feel so good to have tomorrow off... then have a workshop this weekend with lots of hammering, so that will reinforce the upper body stuff... Woo hoo - 3 more weeks to go!
