Drinking and Driving

So I went to the boss today and asked him if I would get fired if I got caught drinking/eating in the bus.  He said "yes" but then he says "no" for me because  it's medically necessary.  He also asked that I do not tell the other drivers that he gave me permission.  I am allowed to drink but not eat.  So that is better then nothing.  I have my protein drinks already to go tomorrow. 

That is great to hear!  Since the boss did not put it in writing you may still want to consider having a medical note and having it put in your file, just in case.  Now start sipping those protein drinks!

RTD protein drinks are always a good option in that situation good for you, for finding a solution. I agree with Dawn about having it in your file.

First of all me personally would have gone to HR if you have one and gave them a note from my doctor and made it official and this boss sounds like a sneak so yup I would ask for it in writing. Do they really expect people on the job any kind of job that if they are thirsty not to have something to drink?  Thats inhumane!  Thats like if you are driving you can't go to the bathroom before continuing your route!  What are you supposed to do hold it in?
