We have our dates!

We are going to be a WL Super Duo! LOL  My husband, TJ is have the bypass done December 1st.  I'll be having my band removed and converted to the bypass on December 29th.  Just in time for our insurance to pay 100% with no deductible.  After January 1st there will be a $500.00 deductible and they will pay 90%.

Our 8 day liquid only diet will be over Thanksgiving for him and Christmas for me.  Now that's called dedication! At least we will have each other to cheer one another on.  I'm planning on doing the liquid diet with him over Thanksgiving.  He'll already be on a limited diet for Christmas.

I bet it will be here before we know it!  Are there any other husband/wife 'teams' out there?

I am half of a husband/wife team.  Hubby had his surgery Jan 5, 2006, I had my surgery Sept. 14, 2009.

Congratulations to you and your husband - that is awesome!! Getting in under the insurance wire and doing it together - sweet!

I'm a solo WLS'er but my husband would swear he did it to because he had to put up with me' - lol!!!
