BARIX CLINICS, LANGHORNE, PA - SUPPORT GROUPS
Hello there,
I attended Barix's pre-op support group for over a year while I was getting everything in order to have my surgery. I attended the First Saturday support group, instead of the Tuesday night.
I did not have my surgery at Barix due to medical conditions that required I have my surgery in a larger hospital setting, however, found Barix support group to be the best around.
I am post-op now, tomorrow will be my year anniversary ;-)
Enjoy the support group, it's the best!

Hi Kelly,
Welcome! The pre-op groups are led by a couple of great post-ops, and usually are attended by some of the other post-op support group leaders... They tend to be great groups. unfortunately, i won't be attending this week due to a class commitment I have for the next month, but I will be at the next first saturday meeting. (I'm also a Barix support group leader.)
Pre-ops meet every second Tuesday (7 - 9).
Post-ops meet every third Wednesday (7 - 9).
EVERYONE meets first saturdays (11-1:30 )... with breakout groups for supporters/family as well as by "age" (pre-ops, newbies, above 9 months, above 18months, etc.)
All are welcome, no matter who your doctor is or what type of surgery you've had or are contemplating.
I'd also encourage you to join us at Liz's for the cooking class support group - next one is this coming saturday (9/18)... she's posted about it separately. We get pre- and post-ops, and have a wonderful time. You'll get lots of info "from the horse's mouth" about prepping yourself for post-surg success.
Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions you don't want to ask "publicly."
