** Schlepping Sunday Roll Call **
Morning! I crashed hard and early last night (by early I mean 10:30pm...which I'm not entirely sure counts as early...but Bri was out till 2am....so it was early for this household lol)
Anyway was up fairly early - around 7. I putzed around the kitchen for a bit...made some crepes as I am going to attempt to make a healthier version of blueberry cheese blintzes in the next day or so.
Then sat down to flip between the mets and the giants...and ended up promptly falling asleep on the couch.
Woke up to see the very ending of the Giants game....go get em gents! The mets...sigh....didn't see it but got razzed enough via text to know the outcome of that one. Sheesh....who needs enemies when you've got some friends, lol. That's ok...being a METS fan, ya kinda get used to it. Morons.
Now I"m at the heart for what I'm hoping will be a "nice" night. We don't use that stupid Q word. We shall see. The one doc is cranky...he has 5 patients in the fast track area....waaah to him. Do your job (can ya tell my sympathy level for these people is oh so high? lol. Half the time I just wanna drag them by the collar and bring them to LVH and tell them "here, now you're playing with the big dogs" lol....) The good news is regardless...it's almost 99.9% an easy night for me here! And I"m in triage...so it definately is. PLUS I'm only here till 11pm, even better.
Stopping at Walmart on the way home for a few items.
Hoping to be in bed between 12:30-0100 as i have a personal training appt at 8am. Not my preferable time, but the only time we could make something work for early in the week.
So, yes, steffi...I had a MUCH more relaxing day than you!

Hello everyone!
I was able to hang out with my best friend this afternoon, and we went to the movies to see Resident Evil: Afterlife in 3D. I can definitely say that this 4th one is definitely better then the 2nd & 3rd! Then after the movie we went and did some shopping, which is always good. There's just something about retail therapy. And it was definitely good to get out of the house for a few hours.
It's been kinda boring the past few weeks, and I'm debating on going back to work sooner then I had planned.. I will probably go talk to my surgeon this week about going back to work next Monday night. But I'm kind of worried about the 12 hour shifts.. Unfortunately I don't get a lunch break, I just get to take a 15 minute break every few hours (about every 3 hours, depending on how busy we are).. So I will need to eat at my desk. It will probably be kinda hard to eat and chew 30 times with every bite. It seems like the police officers have ESP and know when you take a bite of food, and they decide to start talking or do something like a stupid traffic stop. Or if not the police, the phone system will decide to dole out a 911 or non-emergency call to my console..
Anyways, I hope that everyone had a great weekend!
David
