Zipline Warriors
This was not my first time ziplining I went for the first time last year with some of my fellow WLS friends, and it was so fun and we had so many wows together. I have to say today EVEN THOUGH I GOT HURT, it was wonderful. IT was fun to bounce and squeel with glee. It was amazing to see the fearful faces around me turn into some of the biggest grins of joy I have seen in a long time. I just want you all to know I am very proud of you all. I am so honored to see the transformations of your spirit today, and I cannot wait to do it again. AND maybe convert a few new people. Love to you all.
I have to say that it was an amazing day!! A few of us left with some injuries, but it was totally worth it!!!
Thanks so much for organizing another wonderful adventure!!!

I SO AGREE!!! It was amazing seeing and experiencing that transformation as fear turned into joy and PRIDE. We did it... every last one of us... and we have something to look back on (and look forward to) that is very positive and wonderful.
And for those who weren't there, the "injuries" we're talking about were NOT something to let yourself use as an excuse not to go... we're talking minor bumps and bruises, a little rope burn in a couple of cases, and most came out completely unscathed... SORE today, but that's to be expected and even enjoyed! It was SO worth the experience!
I'll be honest - going into this I was scared that I would make a fool of myself and end up walking down the mountain in defeat. Nothing could be further from the truth of the experience. I faced those fears, got over the first hurdle (which was the hardest one, it turns out) and enjoyed myself from that point on! What a learning experience.

It was an AMAZING day!
I've been zip lining before...and lemme tell you...this course was unbelievable. It was definately much more challenging than spring mountain - but as we ALL proved - we freaking did it.
Yup - sore today. But remember that soreness is "look at what the hell I did!!" The bumps, bruises, rope burns etc are all definately part of that as well.
Sooooo proud of everyone!!!! And it was a phenomenal experience yet again.
And HELL YEA I'm up for a spring one!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
Yea we did!!!!! It was soooo cool!
I'll look things up on FB...silly work has FB blocked now. I mean, really...isn't social networking a necessity while completing medical tasks? anyone....anyone...bueller...bueller....

An absolutely amazing day - Thank you again for organizing it Nicole. I can honestly say that I was really nervous, the guide saw how much I was shaking when I got to the other side of the first zip run and he even asked me if I was ok to continue and I said "I think so"... After a few runs I was smiling (except in that friggin rope tube slide horrible piece of crap thing at the end). Thanks again.. It was an amazing WOW to do something like that!
