Commit to be fit opportunity - Kristine? Others?
So I think i mentioned that I have signed up for a program called "Commit to be Fit" at my gym. Starts Monday night and I'm very excited.
They called today and need ONE more person to guarantee that the class runs - right now there are 3 women signed up. Because of this, if you are not a Cornerstone member but want to take the class, you can do so at member rates ($189 - that's $40 less than non-member), if you call and tell them that I'm signed up for the class and that this offer has been extended to you.
Here's the scoop - you meet 4 nights per week from 6 - 7 PM from Sept 13 through October 7 (that's a full month). M - W at Warrington (on 611 near Wegmans - used to be Doylestown Hospital's Health and Wellness Center) and T - Th at Doylestown (on Edison Furlong Rd. just off of 263). You're meeting in a small, targeted group (no more than 6 people) with a great personal trainer and doing structured and varied work for all-over fitness.... strength, conditioning, cardio, and endurance.
Here's their description:
This program is designed for members who want RESULTS. Commit to 4 weeks of classes, and we guarantee you’ll see and feel the difference. Monday and Wednesday classes will be held on the fitness floor of our Warrington club, with a focus on strength and conditioning, while Tuesday and Thursday evening classes will be at our Doylestown club and work on cardio endurance and interval training. Attendance Incentive! Everyone who fulfills their commitment and has 100% class attendance will receive a $20 Cornerstone gift card! Maximum 6 participants. Instructor: Jamie Katz
Registration Fee: $189.00 (CHF member) $219.00 (non-member)
Here's the website: cornerstoneclubs.com/warrington/events/general_fitness
If you are interested, please call Cornerstone at 215-918-5900 to sign up ASAP. Cornerstone is a GREAT club - and just think how much fun we could have working out together!
THANKS!
Karen

Wow Karen...I hadn't seen the original post....that sounds like an AWESOME program and I'm sooooo glad you are excited about it!! Obviously...timing and distance certainly doesn't work for me...but know that I would be there in a HEARTBEAT if it wasn't for that!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
Yeah - i'm really looking forward to it. It's my entire insurance reimbursement for gym membership, but i think it will be totally worth it - i had thought about using the reimbursement for personal training, but i can get more for my money this way i think, and build momentum for myself simultaneously.
I haven't heard anything further about cancellation so I'm really hoping it's running!
Missed getting to hang out with you on Saturday - LOVED ziplining and can't wait to do it again... Becki feels the same way and Katie wants to do it too, so i sense another trip coming up sooner rather than later. Haha.
