September Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning PA,
I spent most of Friday evening working on an at home Continuing Education course for my Social Work license. Every two years, I must take 30 hours of course work, self-paid, and turn in the certificates and pay for the license renewal. My hope is to get back into the workforce using my Social Work credentials someday.
Saturday has me attempting to get to the gym and swim some more, plus to get to an AA meeting. Other than that, I am trying to finish a baby blanket for my daughter’s sis-in-law, who it appears just had a baby girl this week.
Stay safe and make wise food choices.
Hugs,
Trish

Feel much better today. No dizzies when I got up this morning.. Drank A LOT of fluids yesterday.
Those who are ziplining today, it is gorgeous outside! Y'all enjoy and have a great day!!
Not too much going on today. I've been to the gym this morning. I'm about to go shower. Don't know whats next. I know its way to nice to be stuck in the house cleaning all day. Must find something to do outside since tomorrow it's suppose to ran. I will be putting off the cleaning of the house till tomorrow.
Always remember. Never forget. 9/11.
Hope everyone has a good day.

I broke down yesterday afternoon and called an orthopedic surgeon and scheduled an appt for Oct 1 for my left arm - the pain yesterday was actually making me nauseaus and that's just way too much - it has settled down a bit this morning but I'm being very careful in how I use it and which way I bend it, etc.
Anxious to see my sister this week - if you all saw my post yesterday she has decided to have the lapband surgery and I am so happy for her - I know it'll help her hip and heel problems a lot.
Well off to start my day - with what I'm not exactly sure, but wishing you all the best and sending prayers out to anyone and everyone who lost family or friends on 9/11.

Quiet morning here. Usually Sept weekends get crazy at the beach, but not yet today. Hopefully it will stay quiet!!! lol We'll head out to the beach in a bit, maybe do some metal detecting later when it's low tide. (I found my first jewely yesterday! A teardrop of hammered silver or some sort of metal, from an earring. Nothing exciting. lol Also found a whopping 4 cents!)
Had a dream last night that I got a job. Maybe it's a sign of something good to come soon!!! I don't think I slept well last night though. I think I heard Paul grinding his teeth a couple of times, which I've never heard before. I'm wondering if it was actually me grinding and I didn't realize it. Weird.
Have a great day, my friends!! Peace and strength to those dealing with life's issues today!!!
Today has me running the usual errands and then I will prob just go hang out with some friends later on today...
Slept funny last night and now my neck is killing me...gonna go take a tylenol!!!
Hope ever has a super Saturday!
*Remember to take some time today and remember all the men and women who lost their lives on 9/11. America will never forget and they will never be forgotten...*
Much luv!

See my profile for my OH Blog!!
Not much on my agenda today. I've already been out to the grocery store. Got home, unpacked all the groceries, dropped my entire 30 pack of eggs on the floor - was able to salvage 6..., cleaned that up, put the groceries away, now I am just sitting relaxing waiting for Amelia to wake up so I can feed her. I am still battling a cold. Seems that my nose has cleared but it is settling in my chest. Amelia is quite stuffy too. we are just going to lay low today, maybe go out for a walk later since Chris is working.
Have a great time zipping today all that are going!
Also take time to remember 9/11, I know we are here.
Trish good luck with your courses. Gene has to do the same with his LSW. I was also talking to one of the social workers where I'm employed she was telling me they upped the course work hours to 38 every two years. Gene was supposed to research this but has not yet. He also is now self-pay for the CEU credits now that he's retired. I hope you get back into social work - you have so much to share!!!!!
Today I have some cooking and baking to do for church tomorrow. Tomorrow is our Home Coming. We're starting out with a prayer breakfast at 9:30, the Deacon board is taking care of that, then after service we're celebrating with a potluck luncheon, then at 3pm we are having a Concert featuring our organist. I'm making the roasted veggies and some of the desserts. I'm tossed between a spice cake, banana spice cake, or a dark devels food cake all of them would end up with vanilla frosting. So far I have made a peach cobbler for home - Gene is waiting for it to cool I'm also considering making a pan of black bean brownies for those that prefer something other than cake.
We also have to run out to the store to pick up some cleaning and washing supplies. I also need to get an alumnium pan with alumnium lid for the roasted veggies, I thought I had one left over from Dad's b-day party but must have left them all at my daughters house.
Then I also realized that my classes start in 2 weeks . I still need to get my books for class, so I'll be going online to find out what books I need and ordering them online. I have gotten my new Dell laptop with all the newest bells and whistles to start on my journey through Graduate School. I need to get a USB Key to make a back up of my new computer stuff that is already installed (which I dont' understand - Gene told me we need to get and do this) and I need some USB drives to take all my stuff (pictures/music) off my current laptop so Gene can take it for his private practice. It's nice to be able to recycle this stuff. If Gene hadn't needed it for his practice we were thinking of giving it to my oldest daughter who does not have a laptop yet, maybe that will be her Christmas present.....
Prayers going up for those who perished in the 9/11 attacks and to our troops stationed all over the world.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday...
