I am doing well thanks. The tests were all negative so it must just be the RNY messing with my iron after having the baby.  I got home around 1 and just wanted to EAT! lol I didn't, I was good and had a cheeseburger (very little bun) and just meat and veggies for dinner. Good news is I did drop a couple of pounds along the way.

Good morning Steffi and PA!

Well, after 13 years of getting ready for the first day of school, I don't have to worry about it!  Got Anthony to college 2 weeks ago and now he is handling it all by himself!  He was home this weekend, everyone went home for the long weekend, it was so good to see him.

Today I am bracing for what I hope will be a blockbuster day at the store after the wonderful article the Morning Call ran about me on Sunday.  I have to get there early to do my weekly cleaning.

So yesterday was 4 weeks since my surgery.  I am down 22 pounds since that day, and I lost 20 pounds pre-op.  I am still having some pain in my belly.  I think it is muscular, since it is near the surface of the skin, and gets worse if I do a lot of bending over, it is a burning pain.  The elastic binder I wear helps a lot.  Is it weird to still have pain 4 weeks later???  I have a CAT scan scheduled for next Monday, the doc wants to see what is going on.  I am having no issues with my disgestion, other than a bit of constipation.  Drinking Smooth Move tea right now.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day at work, school or whereever you are!!

Peace,
Deb

Congratulations on your weight loss Deb.  I hope everything goes well with your CAT scan next week.  I also hope that you have a productive day at work, but not too busy, you dont want to wear yourself out.  Take care

Good morning folks!!!
We're taking Anson to school this morning (10th grade!!) Then we're going out to breakfast and running errands. I need to get a ring guard for the diamond ring Paul gave me yesterday. Not what you think---he found it while metal detecting on the beach yesterday. His first big find---he's so excited. He's been searching with some guys he met on the beach and is really learning a lot from them.
Have an awesome day everyone!! Wishing peace and strength to those dealing with issues!!!

Good Morning all!

My boys began school a week and a half ago so we are back in the routine and although I am glad, the evening rituals of checking bookbags, filling out papers and verifying homework is just BLAH! LOL

Today has me doing some online schoolwork, dishes and laundry. I also have the bright idea of completely rearranging my living room, so I may begin that project so Johnny can help me finish later.

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Good morning - yes Steffi my traffic was much heavier this morning - another reason to love summer so much - lots less traffic! But, the kiddies (AND TEACHERS) must get back to business and I'll adjust - eventually.

I'm back at work after a nice long 4 day weekend - we had a good time at the beach and yesterday really didn't do a whole lot at home - just some cleaning, etc.

Quiet week on board this week as well...hope its quiet for everyone else as well.

Kathy

Good morning happy people!
Today promises to be a crap day at work. Tuesdays always are, and with no Monday it is doubly craptastic. But I will survive.

Thanks to everyone from the Barix meeting Saturday. It was nice putting faces to avatars!

Today is work, work, work, followed by the gym. I took a little gym break last week, but did do exercise videos at home so I wasn't a total slacker. Getting back on the horse this week though.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, everyone!

Steffi - enjoy starting back with the kiddies today!
Liz - Good luck with your test

I always feel like a slacker when I don't get to the gym, even when I have a day of hard physical work planned, so not going to the gym all weekend felt really guilt-inducing.  But... My studio is almost done - just in the phase now of sorting through all the crap that's been in bins and boxes and getting it all organized into drawers and containers.  Took out several hundred pounds (literally) of recycling - darned catalogs are HEAVY!  Built two heavy 3-drawer cabinets, disassembled a large entertainment center, moved a heavy bookcase... (oh, and did the grocery shopping and the monthly "deep cleaning" of the kitchen and family room).  I'm tired and sore, but feel a great sense of accomplishment.

Got to the gym this morning for a nice cardio workout, followed by some weights and stretching.  Then I'm at work all day, heading home to hopefully finish the organizing and cleaning of the office, so I can actually get back to work making jewelry!!!  Whew.

I hope you all have a lovely and productive day.

Hi Steffi
I hope your day was good.  My day consists of errands, appointments and a swim.  Nothing exciting.  All I have left to do is the appointment.

Hugs,
Trish
