Happy "It's Jo-Jo day" FRIDAY!!!!
I have a 4 day weekend, I have a 4 day weekend!! I am so happy - after working 11 long long days in a row, I need this break.
I go for a blood test at 10 (9 month follow up is in 2 weeks w/ doctor P), then to visit my parents, then back home and Mark and I are low key tonight and tomorrow, then sunday am he and I are going for a bike ride along the canal and then switchingin to our bathing suits and going to bucks county river country to kayak for a few hours - then home, shower and our closest friends are coming over and staying on sunday night. Then monday afternoon will be a small barbecue on the patio.
Have a great day PA,
As for me, it's not as busy as the past 2 either.
work til 3:30
go to the grocery store either on lunch break or immediatey after work--need to make a tossed salad for tonight
go to congregant's house for potluck dinner and swimming
not a bad Friday
The weekend is pretty busy, so I need the ease of the day.
Happy Surgiversary JoJo,
Thanks for hanging in there here, and continuing to inspire me. I appreciate that very much. You precede me by two years, so I need your experience, strength and hope...
Today I am much better than two days ago, where the tears and my nose were having a race.
I am taking my car for inspection today, then I am going to the bank to get a certified check to send my son for a downpayment on a computer he is selling me.
I am hoping to get to Barix tomorrow, if someone could remind me what time tomorrow.
Hugs and thanks for all the support through this emotional week for me. The good news is, I have not eaten over the tears, just emptied one tissue box, which is good, because I keep them all over the place with my allergies.
Hugs,

Today I am in work but we get out early then I am finally going to get my hair done since I will be going on vacation next weekend again. I adore my hair dresser and bought her a bottle of wine going to try and hook on Chocovine!
Then tonight we have to do some running around for our crazy busy weekend! Yet it is a 3 day weekend so YAY! We have 2 BBQ's in two days with all kinds of great family and friends so getting it all organized. Plus we will be at Barix tomorrow for the support group meeting and breakfast. Then it is BBQ #1 then Sunday is BBQ #2 and we are going to TRY to make it to another party we were invited to and hope to squeeze it in.
Monday I will not leave my house I must put a ton of clothing away then get packing for vacation! If I say I am going out smack me!
Enjoy the Holiday weekend all!
Today started off weird with Eddie getting up at 5 because he hadn't slept all night (combo of my mom and his sister got his head in a not-so-good place). I got up with him when I realized he hadn't just gotten up for a glass of water, so my day is "off balance." He's doing ok, I hope, and just needs to stay away from my mom today, because she's in a full-on negative nelly mood and that will just trigger him.
At any rate, I'm at work now, planning to leave after a noon meeting. My PLAN is to make some really significant progress on my studio this afternoon so that tomorrow afternoon I can get started on the pieces I really need to make for my upcoming show. Tonight we're supposed to go out to dinner with Becky and Eric (but that's not till 7) and then we want to go to the New Hope fireworks as it's the last one of the season.
Tomorrow I'm planning to go to the Barix meeting... Sunday i THINK we're going to a pig roast in South Bound Brook after Eddie gets off from work - not exactly my cup o tea, but it's important to him. Monday I am working on jewelry the whole day. Yay.
I hope you all have a great weekend, stick to your plans, and enjoy yourselves safely!
