What's your food plan for this hot thursday?
Okay day 4 of the pouch test... yesterday was a bit harder b/c I didn't feel like I had enough food in me to do the walk/run in the heat yesterday. I did have spinach/chicken bake when I got home b/c I really felt true hunger. But, all in all, I think I'm doing pretty well with it.
Today:
M1: Click vanilla latte .. OMG I was not too fond of the original Click, but this one is good!
M2: 1 egg with cheese
M3: spinach chicken bake
M4: 2 turkey wrapped cheese sticks
M5: protein shake w/banana
M6: Turkey burger

Tried to make ice cream with a 1/2 a frozen banana, few teaspoons of frozen pitted cherries, a little frozen canned pineapple and some skim milk. Well its not bad, doesn't pass for ice cream, more like ice milk, and boy do I have heartburn.

for better consistency, try using nonfat evaporated milk instead of skim milk (will also increase protein) and a pinch or two of xanthan gum. make sure you add the xanthan gum slowly while you're blending the mixture, not when it's still, or it will clump up.
I would think the pineapple woudl be the culprit behind the heartburn - i love it but sometimes it's a little too acidic for me.
