** Magnificent Monday Roll Call **

Just popping in quickly to say hey, life is extremely busy as this summer comes to a close, cannot wait until Friday, 3:30 p.m. when I leave the office for a much needed vacation and I am very much looking forward to Saturday's Barix meeting.  Hoping to get some personal things tended to, as my house has gone to hell with so much activity and so little time to divide between house care and living life. . .

I am sending my love and thoughts to those experiencing any difficulties, as well as to those who are not in situations that are as tough.

I miss my friends here, but little time spent on the computer, a little Farmville, mindless stuff early or late in the day, but otherwise, I am being activity driven. . .

Welcome to any of the Newbies, you are in for the ride of your life.

Sending hugs and good wishes to all, peace and strength for the ability to get through those rough spots.

Laureen

Well I am back at the place I hate... grrr... but I keep hoping that something will turn up... most of you know what I am talking about... hehehe...

Today has me dragging but I think that is because I slept awesome last night till about 5:30 when AB woke up and wanted a bottle (kicked Jeremy out of bed to get it and then he took the shower first lol) and AB and I slept for another 45 mins... opps... but I am working through lunch for some overtime and then tonight I am going to go home fix pasta dinner for everyone else and eat tuna boats... and then clean the house some and then work some more for over time... and then bedtime... man that makes me tired...

but if i have the energy going to try to go for another walk/trot run tonight... got a 3 mile loop... nice mix of some major hills and flat spots... want to be 150 next summer... tired of being in pain from the extra skin, the boobs, and fat flap...

Good Afternoon Steffi & PA:

Very late start this morning.  Was not feeling well last night, kept getting dizzy, upset pouch, just yucky all around.  So forgot to set the alarm this morning and got up an hour late.  I arrived at work 15 min late - last week of summer driving on 95.

Worked till noon, then had to go to oral surgeon to get my stitches out.  He's pleased with my progress, he said the left side is healing slower than the right so I have to see him in two weeks unless things don't feel right then I'm to call him ASAP.

The weekend was good.  My shopping expedition with my bestest buddy was great.  Found some things I was needing and also found some stuff that Gene just thought would look pretty on me - he was right, but I have to figure it out myself before I'll believe him.

I'm home from work early with lots of stuff to do.  Have to get my wash done, stew up some apples and peaches, clean the house a bit.  Then time for bed.

Hope everyone had an awesome and productive day....

Hello all,

Today was supposed to be my first day back to work, and of course, my car overheated on the way to work and had to be towed to the mechanic's.  So, instead of digging into email and meeting with my staff, I had to sit in a non-air conditioned tow truck while we towed my Jeep to the garage.  Grrr!

I'm almost 4 weeks out (on Wednesday) and I'm down 30 pounds from my surgery weight.  I'm doing pretty well with my protein and water, but that darn calcium is rough to remember.  I think it'll be better when I get into the work groove.

My daughter started her junior year at college, so I'm an empty nester again.  Man, it's quiet around here.  I'll miss her and her friends taking up space in my living room, listening to their music, watching "The Jersey Shore".... oh, wait... maybe I won't miss them TOO much!   :)

I don't post often, but I so enjoy reading everyone's triumphs, trials and tribulations.  Makes me feel like what I'm thinking and feeling is normal and expected.

Have a great day!

Hi folks,

Am tired, just tried to take a nap (I really wish I was a napper... I really wanted to sleep for an hour when I got home from work.. Well, am happy, I left work at 4:30 today!!   What a rebel I am.. leaving at 4:30 after working 10-12 hours a day for the last 8 days straight... My project is done - I am free of the horrible woman I have been working with and am going back to the area that I was working in - am so happy.

Have really really slacked on excercise the past month due to the hours I have been working.  so so so glad it is over - Must get back on track..

Am planning to spend the rest of this evening relaxing and doing some online shopping for a halloween costume  - having a party this year ...   and... we are also going to book our flights to oregon & seattle

am in a mood to overuse smileys in this post - because, have I mentioned that my project is done!?!?!?

xoxo,

Maura

Hi steffi and Pa....well I'm getting ready to start Tuesday Roll Call in a few mins...but I guess I'll answer Monday's first lol

I had a very emotional tiring night at work on Sunday night into Monday morning...then went to the gym.....

Came home...made some stuff that I'm gonna use today (tuesday) and then went to bed and fell VERY soundly asleep.  So soundly in fact, that I ended up waking up about 30 minutes BEFORE my alarm, and despite going to bed pretty late (like 11am late), felt FANTASTIC and stayed up.

Ok...on to checking on posts....
