Surgiversary Saturday Roll Call
Happy 4 years Trish.. your persistence and perserverance are an inspiration to so many of us.
Today has me going to synagogue where I will be chanting the Haftorah. They actually gave me a few days notice this week.. lol
After services, we have to go to the Best Buy wireless store in the mall to see if we can get them to replace Siehara's phone under the service contract I have. She left her phone at my friend's house on Sunday and we finally got it back last night. Well, she put it in her pocket of her jacket and accidentally closed the car door on her jacket when she got in. OYE.. the screen is all messed up. I hope they are willing to help us and replace it.
This evening we are going to babysit for the Caine's so Sarah and David can go out to dinner. Then, I am leaving Siehara there overnight and headed to Pottsville to see Bron.

Thanks for reminding me too...I have to ship my old cell phone to Verizon, as it was going haywire, and they shipped me a new one because I had the insurance on it. Now, I need a new battery, and have to head to Best Buy for that, I guess.

Today had me up by 8 for a short walk followed by an exercise video. Now, I'm in my favorite chair with my kitty nursing a coffee.
Nothing planned today. Might work on cleaning my bookshelves. Might just take a nap! Lol.

Happy Surgiversary Trish - your journey has been an amazing one and you should be very proud of yourself - you've had a lot to deal with these past few years but always manage to come out and support everyone else - including me more than once - whenwe're struggling with weight or personal issues - that says a lot about you as a person.
As for me I started my day with bloodwork for my thyroid, then came home and sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful morning having my breakfast and playing with the dog. Have managed to do some housework but honestly am not in the mood. Did some laundry, vacuumed, then hosed off and cleaned the one porch. Waiting for all that to dry so I can move the chairs back. That might be it for me today as I'm still feeling the effects of that biopsy yesterday and we're gonig over to Jersey tonight for a 50th birthday party.
But hopefully everyone can get out and enjoy this beautiful weather - its amazing.

Today I am taking Dee to a friends birthday party. YIPPEE!! Hubby is at work but he might be coming home early. He hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days. He was home yesterday since he had a slight fever. After the party I am going to try to make sf peanut butter cookies. I have been itching to bake for a few days! If they turn out good I will post the recipe. Three more days then it is back to work :-( It is happy and sad at the same time. Sad that the summer went too quickly and happy to see my work peeps!! I work with some awesome people who are great friends. Looking forward to setting up my room and getting things ready! I hope we can get a contract soon, it has been two years without one!! No raise :-(

Happy Surgiversary Trish!
Lots of plans but got a late start. Just getting up this morning. I am so drained from taking pain meds at night, can't drag my body out of bed.
Today I had planned to go shopping, I need some Cami's, fall clothes, and a black dress shirt. My old one is just too big now to justify wearing it anymore. I need some dress pants and if I find a few suits in the mix it will be nice. I'm not sure how to get to where I want to go so I'm going to get my shower while Gene is working on some of the stuff he'll need for Monday night for his graduate class. I'm so excited that he is finally teaching this grad course in family systems. He is also set up already for the spring semester to supervise the students field stuff and to teach another family systems course in summer 1. It's a pain cause now we don't have as much time together as I'm used to but once I start back to school the end of Sept it will all work out....
After clothes shopping I need to get to the grocery store, we are out of so much so stocking up again.
Trish again congratulations on your 4 years and to a lifetime of successing at this. You are an inspiration to me!
