Outfit and Attitude of the Day

So we started this on roll call yesterday and I thought it was fun! Post what you are wearing today and how it makes you feel or how you felt when you bought the clothes etc.  You could even post a pic!! I think it is important to continue to see the positive changes we are making each day and how our attitudes are changing for the better as we continue on this journey!!

So today I am going to wear a purple and white tie dye print miniskirt with a big black belt, a black ribbed tank, and a cropped denim jacket(if it stays cool outside) with my "faux" converse sneakers.  I love that I was able to buy the skirt in the juniors section of Kohl's for only $5! It is a size four but a bit big in the waist  so the belt helps! And I love that I am not so  self conscious about my arms anymore and can wear tank tops and not feel as though everyone is staying at my huge"pillow" arms...my arms look normal now! I love this outfit because it makes me feel young!!!!

I haven't gotten dressed yet and I am hanging out at home so I am thinking just a nice pair of comfy elastic waist shorts and a tank top. I love the lazy days where it doesn't matter what I wear!

I choose my mood today too -super happy! My parents come home today, as I mentioned in roll call and I can't wait to see them. Not to mention I get to spend the entire day with Amelia!

I like this idea.  Right now, my outfit is a pair of faded capri jeans, and a Old Navy Flag T-tank top.  I chose this, because I like how I feel in this outfit...I feel younger in it.  I will probably change into something else later, as I either get the itches again due to an allergic reaction to something, or get sweaty while cleaning.  Sorry for being so graphic.

Same thing I`ve worn nearly every day since 1968 in 8th grade. Blue jeans and a T-shirt. I guess Tracy and Clinton would have a hey day with me.

Right now I'm sporting my 'Hagatha the Scrub Queen' outfit - old yoga pants and an even older Bermuda tee. Funky hair, no make-up, and sandals. Its good to be the queen!! LOL!!

This evening we have a 50th birthday party at a restaurant on a lake in Jersey, so I'm thinking my white capris, a white 3/4 sleeve shell, and this really cute multi-colored strappy top over it - like Trish I feel a little younger than my 53 years in it, but am also not trying to look like my 17 year old granddaughter!! And of course then I'll do my hair and make-up and jewelry.

But for now nobody in their right mind would want to see a picture of this!!

So far today I am still my jnight shirt since it rare that I have nothing planned today ...My mood is calm and happy.

I need to get dressed soon just to run some errands it is beautiful out and Den & I 20 month anniversary. (yes we celebrate every month)so maybe we will find something fun to do....

Thinking a nice summer dress though....

I chose some cropped jeans and a black and striped shirt. Flat shoes, I feel funky in them.

Hi all.. this morning when I posted roll call I was dressed for synagogue and wearing a cool brown toned, polka dot dress.  It has an empire waist and has tank top sleeves.  For modesty's sake at synagogue (their rules, not mine ) , I wore a brown shrug over it.  I had on nice brown sandals that have a higher wedge heel.

Now that I am babysitting and then heading north, I decided to go casual for a change.  I did not know what the plans were, so I figured it would either be hanging out at Bron's house or going to his usual hang out.  I am wearing nice show off my bootie jeans and a grey t-shirt.  My hair is done and make up is smoky.  Shoes are simple black sandals with a very small wedge heel.
