Fabulous Friday Roll Call

Good morning Nicole and everyone.  Remember when I was missing my son....yeah...UGH!  He is SOOOO 15 and getting on my last nerve.  All he wants to do is sit around all day and if I have the nerve to ask him to do anything, ugh!!!!!!  How dare I?!?!?  Oh - and now he has a small hickey on his neck.  Boy am I sooooo freaking proud!  It was from the girl he was caught sexting with.....oh - this next stage is getting more and more fun!  EYE ROLL!!!!!

Anyway - I am up, need to pack for me and Emily as we are headed to the shore today.  First a day in Cape May with Step-Dad and new wife, then tonight to Larry's parents to sleep - tomorrow into Brigantine with friends, Larry and the kids will go to the beach while I do some shopping, if I have the strength, then tomorrow night into AC to a comedy show and dinner with adult friends!  Sunday will be schmying around Ventnor.  I am hoping the family heads to the beach and I don't have to deal with my MIL all day.  Depending on how I feel, we may stay until Monday morning.  I have a Dr. appointment on Monday at 2 and Larry will need to sleep as he goes back to work Monday night.

That is it for me - I have NO idea what I am wearing today - I feel pregnant in everything and covered up to my neck because of the binding bra I have to wear for a few more weeks.  Trying to stay positive!

Hang in there it will get better. I remember my wardrobe consisted of Track Suits and PJ's it seemed like forever. Nothing else fit over my binder and Bra from hell

Nicole, your picnic sounds so nice.

I am back to the store for the second day!  Had two small sales yesterday, at least a few people came in.  I know it will get busier as more people find me.  I have to wait until Sunday and Monday for my weekend.  I will be wearing some nice capri pants and I may try on a nice top that has been too tight, maybe after 38 lbs gone it will fit.

Going to make some tilapia tonight, trying something other than mush...

I'm dressing in the classics today. Khaki shorts and a black polo shirt.

Fun times ahead! Today is Mike's birthday. We are flying to FL tomorrow for a quick weekend trip so he can see the new house there. (Hope he likes it, LOL!) Then on vacation next week - although it will be a bit of a "working vacation" for me - to Vermont. We'll be able to kayak and play with grandchildren, and just generally enjoy Lake Champlain and Burlington.

Till then, I have to do laundry and about a week's worth of work today! Signing off for now - I'll check in as I can over the next week.

And I love the idea of an "outfit" thread!

Good morning all - hey, do you girls ever sleep?? Says you're up posting roll call at 3:36 AM? I hope that's a glitch in the system or something! Or the OH Boards are on California time, because the only reason I was up at 3:36 AM was to let a little whiney dog out to piddle, then back to bed.

It is a BEAUTIFUL Friday and I am wearing a cute pair of Angel jeans and a long v-neck top with cami underneath - actually felt kind of sexy in my jeans this morning - they probably fit better than any other slacks I have, and I love, love, LOVE the fact that I can wear 'real' jeans again, not pull up ones with elastic waists! Oh, and I"m having a great hair day on top of it all, so I'm a happy camper.

That being said today is also my thyroid biopsy which I am NOT looking forward to since it has to be done via ultra-sound because one of the nodules they want to biopsy isn't easily accessible (according to the doctor), so I'm at work early and leaving early, picking up the hubby, taking a vicodin, then getting the biopsy done. I know they're going to stab the bigger nodule at least 4 times to get good tissue samples (again, per the doctor), and then go to the other side to get samples of a nodule that is showing calcium. I have no idea what any of this means, but the thought of being stabbed in the neck by even the tiniest of needles is enough to send me screaming for drugs!

After that home to crash, I'm sure...dinner will be whatever anyone wants from whoever can pick up or deliver tonight!

And hey, Nicole, my ass doesn't look fat in my jeans, either!! Yeah US!!

Good morning, everyone!

So glad it's finally Friday. I came home from vacation late Sunday night, and I'm so glad the weekend is here so I can do things like finish unpacking and do my post-vacation laundry.

Today I'm going to work, and during my lunch hour I'm going to go get a much-needed haircut. I want to do something different with my hair, but I'm not sure what yet. After work it'll be time for some Friday night fun, and then lots of relaxing for the weekend.

Sometimes those lunch-hour cuts turn out to be the best - go for a new style! I'm wearing my hair so different now - of course as one of my friends so 'gently' told me about a year ago it was time for a new 'do' since I had the same hairstyle for the last 15 years - LOL!!

I change my hairdo pretty often. I think my current one (the one in my avatar) is pretty cute and I've had it just a few months, but I think I'd like to grow it in a little longer, maybe into a textured bob. I'll see what my stylist says, though.
