***Thursday Roll Call***
Good morning Miss Perky! Your Brian would love working in my office right now - I come in and the first thing I do is put on my space heater! Its been freezing in here - guess they haven't gotten the a/c units fixed yet. Thank goodness I'm not paying the electric bill here.
I'm at work but tired, achey and exhausted (okay, so tired and exhausted are redundant) - anyway last night I went downstairs to clean out the bedroom so my nephew can come over and paint it. It was my 'girly' room in the house - sort of shabby chic, but not something a man would want to sleep in, so I took everything off the walls, emptied the closet, packed stuff up, and took some of the smaller furniture out of there - he'll have to move the bigger pieces. Also moved some things in the main room and cleaned up the storage area a bit. I have so much stuff back there - a lot can go to Goodwill, some needs to just be trashed. Of course Len wants to see if any of the kids can use stuff but the problem there is they say yes, they want it, but never come to get it. Oh, and cleaned the bathroom cabinets - I kept extra things in there for guests but not stuff he would want so I'll move that to the bathroom upstairs. Another bonus of having him move in is that I won't have to clean that area down there anymore.
Not much else going on for me today - just work - home to make dinner - ride my bike - and that's about it.

Good morning Pam and everyone!
I am soooo sleepy. I did sleep well again last night - but could go right back to sleep now...hmmmm...I can do that as I am still on Summer Break! Anyway - I am thinking about heading into school for a little this morning. We shall see if I have any energy in about an hour. I am getting my lips and brows done this afternoon and then maybe a pedicure. We shall see where the day takes me!
Oh - I went to the surgeon last night and I was right - I was retaining fluid - LOTS of it! They drained a ton of fluid out of me and I was informed that it will happen again - I have another appointment on Monday so I expect there to be more drainage then. The doctor said that there is nothing I am doing ot cause of stop it - so I shouldn't worry about it. I just don't want to look pregnant at my newphew's Bar Mitzvah next weekend. I LOVE the dress I have and it is fitting me funny at this point. So - we shall see.
That is all for me! Have a great Thursday all!

Haven't checked in regularly for a while. The schedule has been crazy.
Today I have a plumber in the kitchen. Yeah, that can't be good news, right? The disposal and sink were clogged and he had to snake about 35 feet out. But it seems like he's made some progress.
Then, physical thereapy for about 90 min. - 2 hours. Whew!
Then, work like a crazy person till around 6.
And oh yeah, what's for dinner tonight?
Also have to wrap Mike's birthday present, get to Costco, work on my afghan project, clean the file drawers....I need more hours in the day, I tell ya!

Good Morning Pam and PA,
I am slowly getting back into a routine, now that I have Internet and phone and TV. Last night, my sister took me to a church carnival here in Bristol. Took some chances on some baskets, and a sandwich where I threw away most of the bread.
Today has me slowly trying to get things off a to do list. First thing is to call a doctor due to an allergic reaction to a med I am on. I took benadryl last nigh, but am not sure about continuing to take them.
I also must get started on a pair of overalls for my grandson.
Have a terrific Thursday.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Hey all!!
Same old same old here today. Didn't venture out yesterday; enjoyed a quiet afternoon with my kitties while the boys were out playing golf. I happened to look out the window yesterday and see a kid in the alley---with his bathing suit pulled down to his knees. I'm guessing he was about 6 or 7, so a little too old to be getting nekkid in public. He was looking into his suit, so I wondered if he had an accident. He pulled them up, walked a little further, then pulled them down again. Of course, at that point I had to yell out the window "Hey kid! Pull your pants up!" He looked around, but I'm not sure he saw me. I watched as he walked to a condo building near us, the one along the busy main road. I'd love to know where that child's parents were! Something a little off about that situation.
Anyway, have a great day, my friends!!
ETA: Rachel Ray has a family of 4 on the show today. (Don't know if it's a re-run.) All of them had gastric bypass and have been totally transformed. They're all having make-overs as none of them know how to dress now. I'm sure most, if not all of us, can identify with the clothing issues! I'm sooo glad that a talk show has focused on people that have had wls!

hey Pam and PA. Today I am working and then heading to the dentist blah. Been a very busy day so far. But that is ok. I am hoping I will not be in too much pain.
It has been a hard and good week and I am continuing to choose my thoughts as I choose my clothes. One day at a time with intention and I am owning it
