Need PA Plastic Surgeon Recommendation

I'm ready to complete the transformation (lbl or thigh lift and tummy tuck) and now I need to find a surgeon.  When I was just starting to explore my PS options last year, I met with Dr. Lam whose card I picked up at Barix during my last visit. I like him and have no significant reservations, but I'd like to know if anyone here is a patient of his. If so, were you happy with the results? If Dr. Lam wasn't your surgeon, who was? 

I live near Dover, Delaware, and I've I had consultations with a few local surgeons, but I'm not comfortable with any of them. Their fees are significantly lower, especially OR fees, but you get what you pay for.

I am not a patient but I have gotten so many referrals from friends and even my wls surgeon.  He's in Pittsburgh but he is highly recommended and you can go to this page for people that did have work done by him...they all say good things about him.  Pictures also.  Good luck and I hope you find someone you can trust and be comfortable with.

I believe Susan has had most of her work done by Lam...or maybe one of his partners.  Good reviews.

I've also known a few people to go with Dr. Herman who works out of Pocono Med Center with great results!

Hi there - I amjust three weeks out from an abdominoplasty and breast reduction and lift with Dr. Lam.  LOVE him.  LOVE his staff.  The surgury was performed at Barix and the care, needless to say - was top notch.  I had a few setbacks and they surgeon's office handled it wonderfully, every phone call was handled professionally and I didn't feel like I was being put off or that the doctors were too busy to talk to me - and that was during NON-office hours, which is an amazing change of pace!  I am so far pleased with the results.  My recovery is going relatively well and I am not in any pain unless I cough or stretch in a funny way.

I got Dr. Lam's number from a variety of people, some who are WLS patients, and some that are not.  He comes VERY highly recommended and again, I am quite pleased!  Good  luck and keep us posted!

Thanks for the info. Based on the feedback I've received here and privately, I will likely go with Dr. Lam. My appointment is in mid-October and if all goes well, I hope to schedule surgery for December or January.
