What's your recommendation for shapewear tops/camisoles?

I am interested in one that snugs in the muffin top just a tad.

And how should these things fit?

I looooove my Flexees "Fat Free Dressing" camisoles.  They are nice and snug from just under the bust down to over the hips, are long enough to tuck nicely into pants without riding up, and are NOT snug on the bust (no sense squishing the already-deflated girls - just adds insult to injury).  I've found them at Costco, Kohl, and Macy's or Penney's (can't remember which) and they are also orderable online.

Spanx also makes a tank top that works similarly, but a tank has slightly wider straps so doesn't go under things as easily (to me) as a cami.  Ditto with Kohls, Nordstrom Rack, and department stores.

ShapeFX makes some nice ones, too - I have a longer body-shaper designed for wearing under dresses from them, and I like it.  Got that through their website, I think - or maybe through Newport News...

They should fit snugly but comfortably - they are not girdles.  And, btw, you STEP INTO shapewear camisoles and tanks - they're not meant to be pulled over your head.  They will last much longer and fit more comfortably if you do that.

Hope this helps!

Hi Lynn

I found a brand on QVC called Katheleen Kirkland her cami was very tight and was good for a while but then I found too tight.

I the found realy nice camis at Kohl's by Vera Wang they were comfy and supportive. Not over oricey. I also have Spanx and a brand called Controll it(also at Kohl's)

I try so many at all price ranges to see what works best. I cold have paid for plastics in what I have spent on shapewear!

I only have experience in Spanx...but the things Karen mentioned peeked my interest!  Thanks!

Oh, and BTW, love spanx.  Have a full pair on now at work, actually, because I knew I'd be in triage and knew I'd be cold...and they help keep me warm!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
