I'm over 2 years out and havenoticed that pouchie is sensitive to cold.  i enjoy the sf popsycles and have experienced some discomfort lately.

for the most part, my pouch was never sensitive to what i ate.  Now I notice the cold.... and discomfort when I eat other foods too  (Like ground beef, raw carrots as examples).

has anyone else experienced this?

Pouchies can be very persnickity, even at 2 years out. I know mine can. I couldn't tolerate cold stuff right after surgery - took a long time for me to drin**** water again - now most of the time I'm okay, but sometimes it does bother it. Same for sf ice cream or popsicles. If you're having discomfort from certain things I would just back off them for a little while - give your pouch a chance to settle down then start to reintroduce things slowly again. Pam calls it Prissy Pouch and it can definitely be that sometimes!

ps: I still cannot tolerate most raw vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, celery) - they all have to be steamed for me to be able to digest them.

I'm a little concerned that this seems to becoming a consistent problem with things you didn't have before....I might suggest giving the doc a call "just in case"....
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
