***Monday Morning Roll Call***
Morning all - best wishes to Ryleigh this morning, Eric - you and momma, too! Sending lots of prayers your way.
I'm at work trying to get into my day - left arm has been aching for almost a week now - feels like I did something to it but honestly can't remember lifting anything. Wi**** would just STOP for a while.
Not much on my agenda for today - quick stop by the grocery store on the way home for a few things I forgot over the weekend then meeting hubby at the gas station for some maintenance on my buggy. Home to dinner coming out of the crockpot then making a yummy sugar free dessert for work tomorrow. If I get a chance I'll post it on here along with the breakdown of calories, etc. per serving. I made a test run one at home for us and it was delicious.
And that's about it for me today...enjoy the Monday - ugh!
Kathy
ps: Hubby and I welcomed GREAT grandchild #17 to the fold yesterday - Aiden George. And yes, these are great-granchildren to me by marriage ONLY - I am NOT that old - but since Len's first wife passed away 20 years ago I'm the only one they've ever known - so I'm it - the family parties just keep growing and growing!! #18 is due in October/November.

Eric, sending good wishes for Ryleigh's surgery today!
I am back home after a 3 day weekend at Niagara On the Lake, Ontario. This is an amazing destination about a half hour from Niagara Falls...but a world apart from the tourist hubbub!
We were there because Mike's son Matt is home on leave for 2 weeks from Afghanistan. It was great to see him and his family, as well as son David and his family (a total of 11 of us!) Matt had a lot of pics of Afghanistan and I must share - our military men and women need our prayers. He is stationed at an outpost - very primitive living conditions and in the middle of a desolate, "nowhere" landscape. There are mountain villages within walking distance and he has been able to visit the schools there (he is a teacher in "real life.") The girls' school stands vacant, for fear that it will be bombed if girls attend. The Taliban is everywhere. He can pick out the young boys who are being trained to be martyrs.
But...back home again and back to work today. Picking up the slack from summer, still, and have a full schedule ahead. Squeezing PT in. I took a walk on Saturday and my calf muscles must have done some significant compensating for the knee, because it is so tight I can barely walk. Thankfully I am off my feet today and can keep it iced.
Guilty pleasure - watching "Hoarders" episodes that I recorded while I was gone.

Good morning Eric and everyone! Hoep you are still not meliting down yet boy....it is the longest 90 minutes ever! Molly was just 2 when she had hers done. I remember when they gave her the "loopy juice" before they put her under. It was the funniest thing - she looked so drunk and was all smiles. Larry and I still laugh about it today. Hope you and Erin find some entertaining moments in all this!
I actually slept all night. I rolled over maybe two times, and went right back to sleep! YAY! I hope that is the way it will go from now on!
Today is a realtively busy day for us. I am tutoring at 10 AM, (LOVE IT!) the kids have the yearly doctors appointment at 1, and then seeing that Joshua is home, heading to the market to stock up on things he wants and then he and Molly will have to unload! :) I love having my slave - oops - teenager, home!
Tonight, Larry is home, Molly is heading out with her Big Sister so not sure what Josh, Larry and I are going to do - most likely just sit in the front of the TV watching a movie.
Hope you all have a GREAT Monday!

Morning Peeps!
I am determined that today is going to be a good day. Never mind that the printer/programming problem that made my life hell Thursday and Friday at work is still not fixed. Nope - not gonna stress about it.
Work, gym, then home to try my hand at protein ice cream with my new maker. Very excited!!
Have a great day all!

Good morning, PA!!
Eric---Hope Ryleigh is doing well now!! You and Erin too!
Liz---Thinking of you as you head back to work today.
Kathy---Congrats on the newest great-grandbaby!!
Paul picked up his son last night, so things are different around here now. A little noisier (yelling at the video games lol), a little more crowded (condo is 1 bedroom), but he's a good kid, so he's easy to have around. He still need to finish reading a book for school, so we'll read together on the deck later today. I'm amazed at the transformation from kid not wanting to do schoolwork to teenager getting his work done without being yelled at to do it.
Have a great day, my friends!! Peace and strength to those dealing with issues today!!

Better late then never right?! I am not going to have time to get online much at work for the next few days so if I am MIA you know why! You can always get me on the cell if you need me :)
Work went OK. I missed Amelia terribly but we both survived. Chris did great with her this morning and she was happy as a clam when I got her after work.
