biotin?

Does anyone take Biotin?  How much should I take daily, I am hoping that will help with new hair growth.  thanks!

I use both biotin and nioxin shampoo & Conditioner to keep my hair in shape.

My eyebrows were almost completely gone and my hair got very thin a few months ago.  My hairdresser is very pleased with the results of me using both, she said my hair is filling in very nicely and there are no longer any bald spots that need to be covered when styling my hair.

I take 2500 mcg of Biotin, Nature Made liquid softgel twice a day.  I've found if I take a lower MCG my eyebrows fall out, so this is what works for me.

I take Biotin 1000 mcg each day. Also I have found if I let my hair grow longer than just past my shoulders it tends to fall out more...so I try to keep my hair at about that length. That is what works for me! Hope that helps a lil bit!

I forget how much I used to take...I started at about 3 weeks out and continued to about 5 mos out if I remember....and it did absolutely nada for hair regrowth on me...except in places other than my head.

I agree with laura...the shorter my hair, especially once it started falling out, the better off I was!

 

I didn't have luck with Biotin. Well actually it worked too well.

It made ALL my hair grow. WAY too annoying for me. I just use good shampoo, keep my hair on the shorter side, and have no problems.
