Update on Me
Well as many of you know I have been battling Anemia issues since Amelia was born. I followed back up with my PCP today after labwork showed a decrease in my hemoglobin again. I met with her today and she suggested that I see a GI Dr ASAP. I have an appt on friday afternoon at 4:30 (the soonest they could get me in), I was trying to get in sooner as I am scheduled to go back to work on monday, but you know how that goes.
I also placed a call out to Dr Brader to get his input. His nurse isn't in today so I won't hear anything until tomorrow at some point. If I do have to get scoped I want him doing it or at least in communication with the DR doing it. The reason for the GI Dr is that the PCP wants to make sure I am not bleeding anywhere. I don't have signs of bleeding externally. She doesn't think this is the case but we need to rule it all out. I have been on Iron pills since June and my numbers have actually gone down since being on them. I am thinking that it may just be an absorbtion issue.
Chris of course is totally worried, I know that this is just a process that will get us to a resolution. I feel like crap and just want to be back to my normal self.
Thanks all for listening to my ramblings

Liz,
I'm so sorry that you're still battling this issue and that it's not moving appreciably in a positive direction. Dang.
On the brighter side of things, if they're doing these tests does that give you possibly more time you can take off before you have to go back? (as an unrelated medical/sick leave?)
Just a thought...

These guys are great. If Doylestown is easier let me know my sister has been an administrator there for many years and I can get you a name.
