Walk - sip - rest. But walking will really help with the gas - let if out - yeah, it's not the classiest thing to do but you'll feel much better when it's out of your system. Take care - don't overdo it.
Each day will get better!!! I agree with the others that walking will help, as will mild stretching like bending from side to side. Walk, sip, rest, repeat. Welcome to the loser's bench!!!

had my first bm this morning. Liquid, but still, stuff is starting to move. Did not get any sleep in my recliner (does not recline, so slept with legs on a chair.) Got to get more liquids in between my protein shakes. Also had a hernia fixed with surgery.

The gas was the worst for me! Welcome home - however, the movement, while exhausting and totally uncomfortable, sadly is what you need to do....I hated it! keep whining and *****ing - it certainly has helped me - I am QUITE good at it!
