***Thankful Thursday Roll Call***

First and foremost..this is my Friday so that's why I'm Thankful!  It's been a LOOOONG stretch!  Can't wait to finish Thursday night and be able to say I'm off for two nights!

Secondly..even though Ms. Belitsky is apparantly having trouble sleeping...she hasn't posted roll call yet and I'm distracting her so I get to win this time

This morning is gonna be a long one....

Leave here and go to the gym.  Today is a trainer day - but schedules got screwed up so instead of my normal 8:30-0900 appt I'm meeting w/ him from 09:30-1000.  So in the meantime I'm gonna be a REALLY good girl and use my time wisely.  0815-0900 is spin, from 0900-0930 I'll keep warmed up by doing abs and probably some light treadmill walking, and then from 09:30-1000 I'll meet with my boy Frank who will no doubt kick my A$$.

Then it'll be home to an empty, or soon to be empty, house.  Brian is going down to jersey today.  So it'll be me and the kitties.  Packing up food, switching laundry and bed.

The only problem with a long day before bed and then a short stay in bed, lol, with an empty house is that I lose my "back up" alarm clock which is Brian...for when I have, granted, only twice, turned off the alarm "for a minute" only to be woken up by him 20 mins later going "uh...are you getting up??"  So....wish me luck on getting my butt outta bed like a big girl all by myself today, lol

And...of course, back to work tonight 7p-7a  Won't lie...am REALLY hoping for a furlough...but that's not gonna happen.  Se la vie.

Pam you are exhausting me I hope your schedule calms down soon. I would be a nut case if I had to do those kind of hours.  Wishing you luck without your back up alarm clock, and sorry you will come home to an empty house on a rare day off.

Today I am working, going to the dentist BLAH! then to visit my client in the hospital. Her surgery went well and I did a few laps with her last night. Amazing it was like dejavu. So little has changed. She is in pain but she will be ok.

I am hoping Deb is feeling better as well as Swede. 

I miss you all and hope to see some of you soon. 

No no no...I'm coming home to an empty house TODAY - NOT my day off!  He will be home tomorrow!  The empty house thing is AWESOME today - less distraction, easier to get to bed lol.

And look who is talking lil miss I see clients on the side after my real job lol!!  And not all my days this stretch were 12 hour shifts..had a few 4 hour princess shifts and 8 hour shifts thrown in for good measure...so it wasn't to terribly bad!

LOL you still have me hands down beat when it comes to stretches of days without a break. But I know you would be bored without it so it suits you.

I misunderstood, I did read this at 6 am I am glad you will have him with you for your days off nice. Hope you get some good sleep,

 Good morning all,

Today is a bid day for me.  I am FINALLY going back to work today after 8 weeks of being out on short-term disability from the car accident.

I am still in a hot of pain in my neck & shoulders and still have headaches everyday, but have to get my rear-end back to work.

I am going through my auto insurance medical plan and they are making life extremely tough.  I am trying to get approval to see a neuro-surgeon and they are fighting me every step of the way.   The neurologist that  I ended up with is a quack and I have got to get myself out from under his care.  He is just awful.  I sent a long letter to my lawyer yesterday asking for his help, so I sure hope he comes through.  I am just so happy to be getting out of the house today and going back to work.  It has been a long eight weeks.

Hi all!

Had a great support group meeting last night.  I had four new folks show up!!!  We are up to 10 folks! 

Today is another day of work, then clean house to prepare for company and then my sign language class.  Company showing up tomorrow.

Kinda sleepy this morning, but had a great time at Musikfest last night.  Working 6-4 today but then tonight's plans are completely up in the air.  Still need to start packing for Sunday too.

Nothing else new, exciting or otherwise here for me.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Wow Pam, I'm exhausted reading your post.  Time for a nap :-)

Today is a busy day.  Lots to get done at work.  Two more days then I'm home for a staycation, due to oral surgery on Monday morning.  Then next Wednesday I'm going with my oldest daughter to her appt. with the neurosurgeon for her back.  She's needed back surgery for a long time, putting it off, on mega doses of narcotics that would kill me - so she is finally in a place where she's going to hopefully be able to have something done.  The surgical procedure she was originally considering her insurance no longer covers so now on to a new game plan.  The MRI showed she has a second herniated disc so we'll see what this doc comes up with for her long term care.

After work today not sure what's happening.  Gene is off I think tonight so might come home to hang out with him, have not really seen or spent time with him since last week I think. 

If he is working then either the gym or my treadmill or both we'll see.

Good Morning all...........

I am home after a busy shift with a HIGHLY ungrateful and rude patient I had to deal with all night. Ugh..........

Made breakfast for kids and will be heading out soon for my Hematologist appt. Then home to bed until 3 or so. I work tonight and then have 5 days in a row off.....Yahooooo!

Looks like everyone is busy and has a ton to do. Hope everyone enjoys the rainy day. (It's POURING here at the moment and I am enjoying the thought of sleeping on a rainy day.
