I hit the 100 pounds lost today!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I've had one of my best 2 week spans of my life!!! From our 9 day vacation where my kids all had fun and the teen drama was practically non-existent, to our 18 year anniversary on the 8th, my 8 month surgi-versary on the 9th when I it my personal goal of weighing 166# to today, 8 months and 3 days from surgery and I've lost 100 pounds!!!

This date seemed so far away in December and now it's here. I estimated I'd have been close at my 7 month surgiversary, but, I didn't take into account any kind of stalls and never considered failure as an option.

I weigh less now than on my wedding day and my high school graduation day. I wear a size 8 pants which I have NEVER done. The smallest I ever was on my own was a 12 and I was 20 years old. My bra size went from a 48 DDD to a 36 C...my shirts are a medium, I've never wore a medium EVER!!

This has been, by far, the very best thing I've ever done for myself!!! I'm on cloud 9 right now!!!

The joys you are feeling are AMAZING!!!!!!!  I am so glad that you have them posted here!  I am wondering if all the feelings are related to the weight loss!  The almost non-existant teenage drama - it might VERY well have something to do with the way you feel about yourself and the way you come across to your kids.  Remember that when we don't feel good about ourselves - it comes across loud and clear to those around us and the flipside of that ist true too!

You have made amazing changes in your life and besides it being reflected in your physical being it is reflected in everything around you!  Congratlations on this huge milestone and keep on posting for yuorself as well as everyone else *****ads! :)

You rock! :)

Thank you to everyone! I'm so unbelievably happy that I can't even come up with another word for it. I recently bought a pair of white shorts in a size 8. That was a real treat, cuz they weren't really on sale...I mean they were, but, not a GOOD sale. My 15 year old gave me some clothes I got for her and she never like them, so, I got them back. They look cute. I feel like I splurged, it was just a couple years ago. But, you're all right! I'm totally going to treat myself with a cute fall outfit. Skinny jeans here I come!!!

Maura, you're right. I still can't bare to spend too much money on fabric softener. I still use the cheap stuff. Hey, it works and I get to keep a lil money for clothes.
