Good Morning Nicole, PA!

Well seems I am just packing lots of life into my weekends, I certainly did a lot of everything this past weekend. . .  started with Barix support group on Saturday, home to meet up with an old friend I had not seen in about 2 years, when I opened the door he just stood there and said how wonderful I looked, asked where the rest of me had gone to, kept staring at my face and saying how incredible I looked, it was nice, as we all know the further we come from the surgery, the more people forget how we once looked. . .  anyway, it was nice, he had his own journey of weightloss, he lost over 120 pounds via Overeaters Anonymous and is looking pretty good himself, it was great catching up, then I took him with me to a pool party, where he know some of the people, as he is a fellow AA member who has moved around a bit since his Mom passed away two years ago, but now he is looking for a "gay friendly sober environment" to rest his hat on for a while. . .  so I introduced him to a couple of folks who I knew were renting out rooms or something. . .  after that, went home took care of Roxie and then went to my women's AA meeting, Friendly's afterwards, where I had a scoop of their delicious sugar free vanilla ice cream, home to bed. . .  yesterday Tony came down and we went to breakfast, then home to hang out, we made our reservations for our vacation during the week of Labor Day, going to Ocean City, Maryland (can't wait), met the neighbors new dog, Cabo, a beautiful big black Great Dane, Roxie was all excited, but he is a bit shy yet, but I think they might become fast friends in time, though they are going to take another one, that is older and has not been placed because of his age, anyway, I cooked a delicious leg of lamb with roasted potatoes, zucchini and tomato and onion salad for an early dinner for Tony and I, he had to leave early as he got a call while at my house that his uncle had passed away, so he wanted to go spend some time with his Mom, as it was her last living brother, so I finished my food prep, laundry and then Owen called and he came by and walked Roxie with me and then we went to hang out at Starbucks for an hour, after which I came home and went to bed. . .  and then I wonder why I am so tired (lol). . .

So here I sit, working today and hoping to get through the week with minimal problems. . .

I am trying to catch up on what I missed over the weekend on here, hope you all are doing well, wishing you peace and strength to get through whatever life brings your way. ..

Hugs, Laureen

Good afternoon PA!
I had a great 3 day weekend.  After this week I have a 4 day weekend and I can't wait.  We are going to Hersheypark.  We haven't been there in 21 years.  We didn't take Caleb there before now because I could not ride anything...well that has changed, so we will be riding it all on Mon & Tues next week.

I should come by more often as of late - I have no idea what day it is anymore!  I had to change my work schedule (voluntarily) to be off this coming weekend...so I've been a mess as of late.  Doing yet another long stretch - but like I said - I reworked it that way because I have plans both Friday and Saturday which I am NOT missing worth all the gold in China, so you take the good with the bad.

Came home from work after a very hectic night on very little sleep.  I decided to make myself a mimosa...and admit to over endulging in that this morning.  VERY unusual for me.  However...slept like a freaking roc****il some moron with a jackhammer climbed into my head either through my nose or my ear and began pounding away at my brain.  I think his name might have been Cham Pagne.  Lesson learned.  Bad Pammy!

Anyway - took some meds, went back to bed, and woke up feeling MUCH better!!

At the heart tonight for a 1900-0300 and then home to wash, rinse, repeat, lol!  Overall, not a bad monday!

Got home at 10 after a 12.5 hour work day ugh.. I hate this project.. 9 more days on it, but who's counting?

This is going to be a rough week work wise.  I am very sore from an intense insanity workout in the basement yesterday - we floated around the pool at a friends house for the afternoon and it was wonderful.

Not much to post...

love you all PA!
