***Wild Wednesday Roll Call***

Good Morning PA,
I think my body is on Pam's work schedule.  I slept most of the day in my rocking chair.  My muscle relaxer really worked.  So, now, I am up and full of energy.

Wednesday has me trying to finish some sewing projects for my grandson's birthday, and making an AA meeting.  Nothing new, just different fabric.

I hope everyone has a great day...glad to hear Steffi and the "girls" are doing well.

Hugs,
Trish

Morning Trish.. I hope you get yourself back on a daytime schedule soon.

Lynn.,..... thoughts with you during your surgery today

Today has me working some OT this morning and ending at my normal 3:30.  Bron is coming up around lunch time to hang out for a few hours, so I'll probably make dinner for us for after work.

Tonight is the 2nd week of First Strides.  I will NOT sleep through it this week.  I already told him that if he is still here when it is going on, that he can hang out in my apartment for the hour I will be gone.  NO EXCUSES this week!!!!!!!

If he is gone by then, I will stop by Target or the Dollar Store on my way home.  I need to get a small container/tote of some sort for Siehara's Barbie's/Bratz.  There is plenty of room in the totes that are in there now, but she likes to bring them back and forth from the bedroom to the living room and has been using a cardboard box to transport them.   I'd much rather she have a tote that looks neater and CLOSES to hide the mass array of dolls and clothing that she has.

Other than that, I plan to just sit home and just relax.  Siehara's room is almost done and I have a great feeling of accomplishment knowing that it will be nice and neat --- at least until she is home for a day. LOL

Lisa,

What about the shoe box size clear boxes.  You could get one for the Bratz dolls.  One for the Barbie dolls and one for each for the clothes.  That way the dolls and the clothes are seperated and she can see what's in them.

Just a suggestion.  I haven't had a barbie doll in my house in about 20 years!

Great idea, Cyd.. problem is, my child is not that organized.. LOL.  I can put them in there all neat and organized and she'll be home one day and they'll all be mixed up and falling out of the boxes.. LOL.  I actually don't think that would be big enough for the dolls... it would probably work for the clothes, though.  I was using a set of plastic drawers and had all the doll stuff in one drawer.  She got tired of taking the drawer in and out and it always ended up on the floor until she found the empty box and started using that..... sigh..

I have good intentions, at least.

I head to the hospital at about 10:30 today. I'm about to admit that I may need crutches so we will stop and get those on the way. Have already assembled my goodie bag near the sofa with:

Pillows
Down comforter
Crochet project
Writing projects

Now to set the "out of office" at wor****il Tuesday.

I plan to spend my mornign cutting some quilt squares to distract me, and will put clean sheets on the bed.

See ya on the flip side!

Good morning PA,

Lynn, hope your recovery is quick and pain-free.

Today I am one week post-op!  Feeling pretty good.  I went to the gym last night to walk on the treadmill instead of outside.  It was too sticky for me outside.  Just walked 20 minutes.  I'll be doing that again today, at least three times.  I live so close to the gym, I really have no excuse not to go!  So other than going to the gym today, that's pretty much it.  My friend Cherish, who I know has introduced herself to this board, is coming over during her lunch time.  I'll be having some chicken broth.  She'll probably have a lunchmeat roll.  She'll catch me up on what's going on at work!

Hope everyone has a fabulous day.  Sure hope we hear from Steffi and Swede soon!

Good Morning All -

Good luck today Lynn!

Well apparently Amelia was on "night shift" last night too. She had me up every hour or 2 for something. Most of the time she wasn't interested in eating, I would snuggle her for a few minutes and she would be out again. Today would have been a good day to stay home and nap but we'll be out and about. We are meeting my mom at her salon at 11am then going to the outlets in Flemington, NJ for some clothes for Amelia. I think she has to be back to work at 1 (has a big break during the day) then I'll head to Walmart for a few things, we'll stop and see my Grandparents then home to relax!
