Text from Steffi

So, as I eluded to in roll call...I'm gonna see Steffi in the morning (eluded?  I outright said it, didn't I?  LOL)  So anyway...she texted me about 10 after midnight.  I asked her how she was feeling and what not, and if it was ok if Eric and I stopped by to see her early in the morning (she even went as far as to tell Barix a night shift nurse was coming to see her so would it be ok if I got there before visiting hours....)  Her response

"sore but great!  Just ate cream of chicken soup.  Yummo!  Getting sleepy again.  Just took a percocet.  yay!  I am totally fine with you guys coming to see me.  I am looking soooooo beautiful"

So, as we can see...our very jovial friend steffi is doing quite well for right now.  I'm sure she'll have some pain, but will be well worth it.

And this nurse....well she wants to see the incisions lol

glad to hear she is doing well. Ugh brings back memories, sounds like she is doing better than me. Yes I do know that nursey likes to see the incision

If I remember correctly Jason was QUITE ok with me looking as opposed to him....

Oh yes he was mucho ok with it. me too. I did not look at it for a week. The thing is though sometimes you get a gander of more than you bargained for LOL

sounds like things are going very well.. she even posted a quick update on FB last night.


Give her smooches from her sister from another mister!! I'm going to Barix Saturday for 1st Sat, so I'm hoping to pick her up and drag her ass with me.  If she is not up to it, then I'll just stop to see her after the meeting.

Yeah Steffi!  Sounds like she is doing well.  OMG I remember Gene after his PS - didn't want to talk have visitors was not a happy camper at all......

I just got a text from Steffi.. she says she is still amazed, a bit sappy and all in all soooooo happy.   She says her breasts are sooo cute.. she thinks. LOL..   She is very grateful for all of the support she has been getting (from us--not the new boobage..)  She said she loves this community with all of her heart

She said it hurts to cough and was getting nauseous every time she got up to go to the bathroom, but the last time she went, she did not.  She is going home some time this afternoon and is prepared for baby steps!

Yep I got a similar text. But I didn't get told how cute her boobs looked! Yay!

Saw her this morning and had a really nice visit - she looks wonderful and is SOOOO pleased with her "perky and cute" new girls! Was a little sleepy and is quite sore - was NOT happy when the respiratory therapist had her cough.  But otherwise is doing very well.  They're hoping to go home mid-afternoon today.

Beth V arrived just before I left and I ran into Pam and Eric on the way out... a party!
