It wasn't skin calipers, though.  It was a hand held device.  I've never been measured w/ the calipers, and realize full well with the extra skin and what not, something like that would probably be for naught.
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

     That is so AWESOME.  You certainly have been dedicated to your workouts and it has paid off.  At this point I am excited if I make it to 2 Zumba classes a week.  Keep up the phenomenal work.

Sounds like the trips to the gym and personal trainer is paying off, Of course your perseverance shows of in the numbers posted. Sometimes it's not the number on the scale it's the inches lost and in the long term building muscle mass is far more beneficial than just losing the pounds on the scale. I digress but CONGRATS I wish I could say my working out has been great. I have something called non-iron deficient anemia and I can hardly get out of bed. I work out 4-5 times a week and that takes a lot out of me. Sorry I am feeling sorry for myself here of course the fact that a philly cop gave me a ticket for talking on the cell phone did not help any. I was calling my son's therapist to tell her I was going to be late coming home since MIL had left her pocket book at the doctor's office. Her pocketbook cost me $75:(

The non iron deficient anemia....have they mentioned pernicious anemia?  Just curious.  Labs are not my forte, so don't mine me.

And, honey...the 4-5 times a week is a BIG deal, especially w/ underlying problems.  Remember..."most" doctors reccommend 3 days a week.  Hang in there, you are doing PHENOMENAL

And yes, I understand what you're saying about inches and muscle and blah blah blah...still not easy to swallow the number thing though....
