Plastics Consult update
Well, I am sooo glad it was NOT nearly as bad as aniticipated! I have told you countless times you are entitled to be happy - and if this is what will get you to se what we already see - then go for it. We all know about the hang-ups about our bodies and fortunately there is surgical intervention to fix what we broke.
You are typically a very happy person and to hear that your body brings on the negative emotions, is upestting to those of us who love you. I hope that things go through quickly, and that we can find other things to ***** about besides our bodies - but rest assured, when YOU have your surgery - I will NOT be cooking you things, I WILL however, send meals from a Jewish Deli if that makes you smile! :) HA HA!

Reading this brought back memories of one of the conversations Gene and I had leading up to his decision to have plastic surgery. He mentioned all the same things you do in this post vanity etc. Like I told him, he worked very hard to get where he is he deserved to feel good about himself and look good in his clothes and if the man boobs and the muffin top were bothering him - get the plastics done.
Do you ever go to the Barix Saturday meetings? Gene and I will be there in August - if you ever want to talk to him about his plastics experience I know he'd be very open to it. He's not a poster and doesn't like forums etc. I talk to him a lot about what I read on here. So if you'd like to speak with him directly let me know I can send you his number. I realize he is not the only man on here that has had plastics and you have probably hooked up with one of the others by now, please know that Gene has been exactly where you are now and if you need someone that has been there (male) he loves conversation.

To everyone else... thank you, thank you, thank you. You are all the best and your support means so much to me. I've lost a lot of weight and have really succeeded with WLS, but a huge key to that success if the support and friendships I have gained here. I truly would not be where I am at...physically and mentally, without all of you. I will stop now because apparently when I'm completely exhausted, I get sappy...lol.
