Summery Sunday Roll Call
Good day, PA!
T-3 days for me... I can't believe how quickly this week went. I'm doing pretty well with the liquid diet - although, last night, my daughter made an amazing taco dip, and she granted me half a tortilla chip with a smear of dip. What a special treat!
I want to finish things up around the house - clean the bathroom, straighten up my bedroom, do some wash - just get everything ready for me to take care of myself for the next 10 days or so. As a nurse, I tend to be THE caretaker... this week, I have to take care of me. I'll watch the Phillies while I clean.. and take a walk after they win (I have my fingers crossed that they do). Beyond that, I'll smoothie a beverage or two, heat up some broth... and read my book. The house is so quiet with my daughter moving into her new apartment. Another special treat.
Hang in there, Trish... you're making good decisions. We so often put ourselves in situations that push our buttons... good for you for avoiding them. Hope your grandson picks up your spirits by saying something sweet that only a little one can say. They're the best at that!
Enjoy your day, everyone!
