Thank you.  As soon as she is able to be transferred into rehab things will settle down with mom.  She had a reservation set up for rehab then cancelled it the day before surgery, deciding she wanted to come straight home instead, now the hospital is having a problem finding a bed for her.  Ugggggg if only she'd have kept that reservation...

Trish - congrats on 6 months!

We are hanging out at the house again today. I have to frost a cake for a birthday party tomorrow - we have 4 birthdays in the family between July 21st and August 1st (My Grandfather, Aunt, Dad and Grandmother) so we are going there to celebrate tomorrow. Oh I also have to get out to the garden to pick a ton of tomatoes. This evening I have to run over to my parents to pick up a few things when my Mom gets home from work

How do you survive with all those Leo's in your family.. Is anyone suprised that I am a Leo? probably not..

oooh, oooh, I am looking forward to having a fresh tomato at cooking class - I do not have 1 friggin tomato on my plants :(  Third time, I have a green thumb for flowers and the touch of death when it comes to tomatoes.  Have a great day Liz!

Happy 40th Maura!!

I'm at work for the day but leaving early. Have a few things to get done before heading to the airport tonight to pick up my sister and b-i-l - make pasta salad for tomorrow - bathe the dog - water the neighbor's flowers (and mine) - and do a quick vacuum around the house. I managed to get everything else done last night including laundry and going to the grocery store. My evenings have been crazy busy this week.

This weekend should be good - family tonight - tomorrow we're all heading up to our friends house in Yardley for a birthday celebration at their beautiful pool - the day is supposed to be awesome so we can't wait!! And my sister and b-i-l are a big surprise for the birthday boy!! Sunday will be quiet - my sister will be leaving already - short visit but she'll be back in September for a couple of weeks.

So that's my weekend, gang - hope everybody has a good one - get out and enjoy the super weather!!

Thanks Eric - Plastics & a bicycle - what a great day - you deserve both!!

So, I tried to "indent" the post to Eric, then deleted and it wound up in the same spot, but I guess I am OH challenged.. OH Well :)

So, my rotten boss, whom It is easy to dislike turned around and did a really nice thing and offered to cover me today so that I could take my 40th off.. Now, why would she go and not be her rotten self today and make me like her a little? Am so happy to have today off!

I slept til 8:30, and came downstairs to find a dozen roses from Mark, coffee made, a request for what I want for breakfast  - aw!  I am tinkering around the house and doing some much needed pruning and weeding and am looking forward to it - He suprised me with plans to go to New Hope this afternoon where we will meet up with his family for dinner at Lily's on the canal in Lambertville, then we are off to brunch in NYC tomorrow followed by a 2pm Matinee of American Idiot (I knew the play part was planned), then hanging with some friends from Jersey City and then home.  Am really looking forward to the weekend.
