Thank you, Maura!!  I didn't realize I had faulty plumbing till I lost 100 lbs!  I shouldn't have been surprised, though, since issues seem to run on my mom's side of the family.  Mom is coming to visit today.   Thought that would keep her happy, and I'll be awake to monitor her behavior.  (Wow.  That's pretty sad that I have to do that.)  Paul was wonderful yesterday---he can't handle blood or incisions, but he's so sweet and attentive.  We'll try to get to the August cooking class.

Glad to see you are up and able to post!  I had fibroids, had to have a hysterectomy just shy of 2 yrs ago, like you they were large than was thought.  I am so happy they have been taken care of, my qualiy of life is sooooooo much improved between that and the WLS...

Thank you, Ida!!  I know I'll be feeling better now too!!!  I just edited my original post to add that I learned I also had endometriosis.  That was a shocker!!!  But that explains the pain I used to get!!  It's funny---I think I already feel better!!!

Soooooo glad you are feeling pretty decent considering!!!  Thoughts and prayers!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Hi everyone,

I was supposed to be in VA this weekend but that didn't turn out.  It's for the best.  Less precious money spent.  Sad also because I needed to get away.

I have a job interview today.  I think it's a job I will enjoy!  Wish me luck.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Really?!?!?  2-midnight and THEN a 6-hour medic shift?!?!  Are you insane?   Oh wait - i REALLY do know the answer to that! :)

HEY MS. MAURA - WELCOME TO THE CLUB - 40 is AMAZING!    I thought we were celebrating!  Want to play with me at the shore tomorrow?!?! :)

Well - I am wide awake at 6AM - have been for about 45 minutes now - I am wondering if it is my bed that I can't sleep well.  I slept great at camp and now - 5ish hours and I am up!  It is really getting old!

Today should be a VERY fun day!  As soon as Larry gets home, we are headed back to camp for the day.  Our good friends are in from South Carolina - they are Joshua's God Parents and the hubby is working at camp for two weeks.  Yeah - I know - we didn't plan it realy well...oh well....Larry will sleep this morning at camp and Marsha and I will head to The Crossings Outlets for some much needed shopping - of course - I wont be purcasing much seeing as I have NO idea what size I will be for the fall.  Oh well....Then we are headed back to camp for Shabbat.  Need to bring my Shabbat Whites.  Have I mentioned recently that I LOVE camp and am feeling a bit "campsick"?

Tomorrow - headed to the shore for the day to hang out and leave Molly with the in-laws for at least a week - depending on recuperation for me - and Sunday - yup...BACK TO CAMP!  It's like an illness or something! :)

Hope you all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY!

Good Morning Eric & PA:

Congratulations on the PS consult.  Gene had his plastics going on two years ago - best thing he ever did for himself!

Happy Birthday Maura!!!!

Congratulations Trish on your 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am again working from home.  Water heater is still broken.  Mother in law is still in the hospital.  So I'm going to work from home, not sure I can take another freezing shower, so my hair is not going to be looking so good today, as long as I'm around the neighborhood I can throw a cap on, but can't do that for the office.  It also allows me to be available if phone calls or coordination of mom's discharge needs someone from the family on the phone working with the hospital & rehab facility.

Yesterday we had planned to go pick up a water heater so Gene could install it between visiting his mom & my dr. appointments.  Instead Gene ended up on the phone with the social workers from the hospital working on the case management discharge end of getting his mom into rehab all afternoon yesterday.

Today Gene has his clients, so in between clients he will be going to Home Depot or Lowes to pick up the water heater and then installing it sometime tomorrow in between writing his sermon for Sunday.

I will probably take the time to either get outside to walk around the neighborhood or spend an hour or so on my treadmill, depends on how hot it is out there when I open the door.

Hope everyone has a great day.....

Ida
