itchy anyone?

anyone else have some fairly major itchy skin issues? they just started after my second hospitalization--no med changes though.

i was out of the hospital this time for a week when i got what looks like heat rash on the back of my hands. then i had one itchy bump on my forearm and now there is a whole patch of itchy bumps around it--similar to the heat rash but larger. the third and most itchy is that i've developed hives on my stomach where i had the heprin shots which are crazy itchy---this didn't happen the first time with the shots, but i have a friend who said she had the same thing due to some preservative in the shot. i just think its weird that they didn't show up until a week later.

just wondering if anyone else had this 7 weeks after surgery? any suggestions other than benadryl?

Call your doctor, especially if it's getting worse. could be an allergic reaction to something.

I get that after I get the flu shot and the girls get it after their well visit shots... I was told the same thing it is the preservatives... I was told to take benadryl and use the oatmeal lotion... now they told me if they bleed (not from scatching lol) or get ***** I am to call the PCP...
