Freaky Friday Roll Call
Good Morning PA,
I am still up because my new muscle relaxer causes indigestion and assorted digestive fun. In the past two days, I have been the recipient of three different shots, all in my butt. Sitting is no fun anymore.
Friday has me being a bum around my apartment, and trying to tiday. In the evening, I have my AA meeting.

Sorry about the digestive & tush issues. Hope being a bum today has you feeling a bit better by tomorrow!
I am up bright and early due to trying to get on a daylight schedule for the next 4 days. So I am going to shower soon, make myself some breakfast and enjoy coffee before the kiddos wake up.
Today I am working for the Doc from 8-2 then heading home. If it isn't too stinking humid out, I may grill dinner. Otherwise, I am sure the kids will not disagree to a pizza night. LOL. I work day shift over the weekend so looking forward to just chilling tonight with my family.

I meant to tell you that I was in your neck of the woods this past weekend. I stopped at Gettysburg College to pick up a Soccer T-shirt for my nephew who collects all sorts of shirts. I also attended an AA meeting at I think St. John's on Rt. 30 in town. I hit Boyd's Bear Country twice, and Hobby Lobby three times. Caledonia's beds in the house we stayed in did most of the damage to my back and butt. I already had previous damage that had been pretty much fixed up till the weekend. I ended up staying two nights in the Days Inn in Chambersburg. I love that area.

It is a nice area. And isn't Boyd's so beautiful. I don't even collect them but love taking the kids there. During the summer they always have activities going on.
Did you stay in a cabin in Caledonia? I see so many of them in the area and they look so relaxing. It's just far enough away from home for me to feel like I am "away", if I stay there. LOL.
I may be driving through there more often if I get accepted at Penn State. I am looking at transferring to the Mont Alto campus to finish my nursing degree.

Yes, we stayed in a cabin...it looks more like a house, right near the corner of 30 and I think it is 233, across the street from Thaddeus Steven's Blacksmith Shop.
I was able to get out of Boyds without spending a fortune. They are having their Christmas in July sale.

Good morning everyone. I am at my job and then heading to the salon my roots are BAD. We are laying low this weekend because next weekend we will be in NC and the weekend after I will be in OC MD. So saving money and spending time together without stress and drama. I am sure we will get down in the basement and continue the clean up or sorting through things. Other than that not much. I hope you all have a great day and I hope you feel better Trish

During the day I plan to do what I did yesterday.. every time I walk past Siehara's room, I do a little bit of cleaning. Right now, it looks worse than it did yesterday because I took everything off of her dresser, bookcase and night stand so I could dust. It was NASTY!! So, today will be putting stuff back. I already have a big garbage bag full of junk that was laying around.
After work, I will head to the pool if it is not raining. If it is, I think I will see what the Caines are doing and head there for my Friday night dinner... maybe we'll do the mall too. I have a gift card for JCP and a coupon for VS that I forgot about and I want to get a few things.
Bron is coming down after work so we will find somewhere to hang out. I am still feeling him out and am having some doubts. We are going to Baltimore next weekend, so I am going to use that as the ultimate judge of where I want things to go with him.

Am heading to the basement for a workout - am going in to work a little late this am - Will be at work and then after that am going over to Beth V's house on my way home - I believe Cheeseburger pie is on the menu! I haven't tried it yet, so I am looking forward to that. Plan is to catch a movie - then home for me to pack a bag and head to my brother & SIL's so that we can head in to NYC to see Wicked on Saturday - am looking forward to it.

Have you seen "Wicked" before? Are you familiar with the music? It is one of my favorite musicals
. Two of the songs mean a lot to me - "Defying Gravity" and "For Good". Defying Gravity has so much meaning especially since the WLS. The freedom that Elpheba sings about resonates with me. "For Good" makes me cry every time I hear it. Just remembering all the people who have touched my life. My favorite line - "You'll be with me like a hand print on my heart". Sorry for highjacking the post but I just want everyone else to love this show the way that I do. Have a great time in NY - It's going to be very hot so keep hydrated. Take care.
