** Magnificent Monday Roll Call **
Good morning everyone in PA and surrounding areas. It is going to be a magnificent Monday. The weather is going to be beautiful and I am still at camp. I may even stay for two extra weeks. It looks as though my hopeful plastics journey is NOT going to happen this summer. I called the insurance company on Friday and they had NO idea what I was talking about - tried calling the plastic surgeon and could not get through. So at this point, if I am not going to have surgery - I might as well enjoy my summer and stay up here longer. We shall see.
So - today is free play with the little people, followed by a game of kickball - THAT should be interesting with 9 kids ages 3-6. Then some time in the pools, followed by a fabulous nap time - for them of course - not me! Tomorrow night I am not sure what the plans hold, I may just hang around camp, or drive into Bethlehem to visit my cousin. I just love that I do not need to make any specific plans or worry about coverage for my kids when I am up here!
I hope you all really do have a MAGNIFICENT MONDAY!
Hey Steff & Pa,
Steff - I didn't hear my phone ring yesterday - soooo sorry. I got the message about 4 hours to late...I'll send you an email shortly.
Today is my appointment with my trainer which I still intend to go on. Yesterday I took all of my medications, a hot shower, and put a few icy hot patches on - and woke up feeling almost 100% better. A little tiny bit of residual stiffness, but even that is gone now. I'll tell my trainer what happened so we can be more careful with the upper back stuff, but otherwise I think I should be good.
After that it is home and to bed by what I'm hoping will be 10. Trainer is from 8:30 - 9:00 Not staying for cardio afterwards - to long of a day. Home by 9:20...pack up food...shower...
The BEST part of Monday this week is that it is the FINAL of my "8 twelves in 9 days" TGIM! Two glorious days off in a row...freaking phenomenal if I do say so myself!
Alrighty....off to study for my CEN exam - I've been trying to get in a bunch of practice questions at work...gonna mail out the paperwork this week....sigh....
Lots going on this week. I'm up trying to get hubby on the road to OH by 4am. He will be gone all week at training. Tonight I have registration for the sign language class I'm going to teach.
Tomorrow night is an Essential Oil teleconference and/or Open Mic at Olga's.
Thursday night is the Sign class and then the week is almost over. WOW!
Next Monday, I will be starting a dance class, not Irish but a mix for adults only so it should be fun.
I am seeing myself falling into old mental thinking. It's time to get started to get busy and active.
It's almost 7am. I've been to the gym this morning. 40 minutes on elliptical and 15 on bike and a really good stretch afterwords. Made my two protein shakes for today. Not sure what dinner will be yet. Off to take a shower. Work till noon. Have my visit with Dr. Katz today then right after going to pre-admission for blood work. Can't believe my surgery is coming up so quickly now. I've waited so long for this day to get here. Now it's right around the corner.
Have a good day all!!

Well one heck of a storm just rolled through here. Thunder lightning and the whole 9 yards. Amelia had me up at 5:30 wide awake and ready to go - of course now that it is too late for me to go back to sleep she is out cold... Ugh..
We are going to north jersey today to see my Great Aunt and I am sure some cousins that will pop in. Not sure what the day will entiail other then that. I have to be at my Mom's between 9-9:30 and we probably won't be back to my Mom's until 6-7 tonight. I am already tired just thinking about it all. Oh and I am not driving Mom is... can't forget to take my dramamine - I am horrible as a passenger.
Have a good day all!
Well I'm glad you are enjoying being at camp and hope you enjoy your day!
Well I am heading off to work, after I walk the Roxie girl and other than that, my Monday is not so exciting. . .
Have a great day everyone!

I'm back at work this morning a tad stiff and sore - we got the house re-arranged this weekend with the help of my nephew and a friend of his (to move the big, heavy piece), but my nephew stuck around and helped a lot. The house looks wonderful and we're really pleased with the results - but both hubby and I were dead-a** tired this morning.
Yesterday my bff (and beach buddy) texted that they were driving back from Portland, Maine and might stop in so of course I called and said absolutely - come for dinner, spend the night, and get up this morning and continue their journey, so they did just that. It was great being able to entertain them for a change (we're always at their beach house). So we had a lovely afternoon/evening with them and they'll get up and mosey on their way this morning.
Not much else new for me right now - giving blood this morning for the Red Cross, work all day - home, dinner, work-out, relax.
Hope everyone has a great day!
I am soon heading out to work for the Doc office until 5, then heading home for a nap as I work 10p to 6:30a at the hospital. Whew, I am tired just thinking about it, but oh well.......
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I miss checking in on you all and try to find time to read a post here and there. I am hoping by september my schedule settles down so I don't feel so rushed all the time! LOL
Have a great one all!
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Looking forward to support group on Wednesday.
I hope everyone has a "Magnificent Monday"!
