***Fitness Friday ??**
So...I decided to NOT go to the gym and do something else and finally broke out my rollerblades that I haven't used in a year.
I bladed well over a mile...and then proceeded to take one heck of a flop in the last oh, 20 feet. A downhill slope caught me waaay off guard, I'm not good down hill to begin with. The rest of the time I had been able to skate off towards grass and roll to a stop (standing) ON the grass. I knew immediately on this one that wasn't gonna happen - and damn straight it didn't.
I've got a nice hematoma on my left thigh, left elbow, an abrasion on my right knee to prove it. And ya know what? It was freaking AWESOME. The fact I can rollerblade at all, fall, get back up, and be able to walk and continue on with my day....awesome, just freaking awesome! Had a BLAST.
Also then spent some additional time outside just enjoying the simple pleasures of a gorgeous day.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
