***Wild Wednesday Roll Call***

Good Morning Pennsylvania,
Just finished watching the All Star Game....the National League won...Yippeeeee!!!  Now we have to get the Phillies back to the World Series to take advantage of home field advantage.

I have been up, trying to organize some stuff to take to Caledonia State Park for the family weekend I am having with Mom and her boyfriend.  My sister wants me to stay longer, but I can only take Mom in small doses in close spaces.  I have plans to make my AA meetings in Gettysburg, or Chambersburg.  Gonna get some hiking and swimming in.  I know the park well, having taken my kids there a gazillion times when they were little.  I also intend to hit Hobby Lobby out there.

But, this is Wednesday Roll Call...gym, WalMart, AA, clean, pack, yada yada.

Hey Trish,

Had to laugh at your self re direction..because I do the same thing!

I'm half way through an INCREDIBLY slooooow shift right now.  But, this is what I asked for, so I shan't complain.  The past two nights at CC were soooo busy and soooo mind boggling I said to a few people last night, and Brian before I left, "I'm looking fwd to a very mindless night of not doing anything"  Well, I didn't realize how much of not doing anything I would get, lol.  Unfortunately, I forgot my work bag...so I don't have my book with me to study for the specialty exam I'm supposed to take.  I looked for questions online...but most of them you have to pay for and what not...which I am not interested in doing at all.

On the way home I need to stop for gas...probably shoulda been done prior to even coming TO work but oh well....

Some much needed chill time before bed and then sleep!  No work out for me today...Sun,Mon,Tues, Thurs,Fri,Sat most likely.  Back at the heart tonight for another 12 hours...not normal for me to do 2 full shifts in a row here, but whatever :)  As long as I remember my study book, I wouldn't mind aother day like this lol

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Good morning Trish, Pammy and the rest of PA!

12 hours down and 4 more to go!  Took a medic shift from 1a-7a after my middle shift.  By the time I get home, I should be up for about 24 hours...FML.  I really need to think a little more next time I do my schedule.  Only plans for today are sleep and the AAA All-Star game at the Iron Pigs stadium.  If it rains tonight, you will read about me in the paper.  Rain has screwed up every baseball related event I had planned since Saturday and I'm not happy.

Also in other big news, Hannah is becoming a potty training all-star.  Two days of school wearing undies with only one small accident yesterday.  Even Ryleigh is starting to take notice and become interested in wearing undies too.  Very exciting stuff!

Well Pam, maybe the citizens of Allentown will find some ailments and I can bring you something to do.  Four more hours, we could easily fill that ER up!  Have a great day everyone!

How does one stop a high speed train?  This is not literaly, of course.  If you know you are heading towards a disaster, well may be a bit strong, but can't seem to stop the momentum, what do you do?

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

You certainly couldn't stop a high speed train on your own, so don't expect to derail yourself from a path towards disaster without help too.  Reach out to someone soon and best of luck with whatever you are facing.

Good morning. I have work and then two clients this afternoon and then back to life.
It is a rainy day that will make it hard to stay awake for sure. Went a little over board last night at the grocery store, got lots of cherries and some SF cupcakes. I promise myself just one a day. There were so good. I am trying to include " treat" foods into my every day normal life to take the " bad food, you cant have it "  way of thinking about it.

Nicole,
I am totally with you on the treat idea.  That is why I always buy my Klondike Slim-A-Bears.  I don't feel deprived when others are eating ice cream, because I have my fix too.

Whenever we go to the Caine's, it is difficult because they have treats all the time.  So, I brought some of the protein cookies with me and stuck them in their freezer so I will have them.

Mornin PA,

This morning I worked out for 30 minutes with Galad from FitTV.  I recoreded it from yesterday morning.  Love DVR!  Today I start my pre-op two week diet.  So for breakfast & lunch will be a protein shake.  Work today till 5-5:30.  Then a group mtg @ Crozer from 6-7:30.   Not eating a meal till I get home may be a problem.  I'll be sure to take an extra bottle of water with me to the mtg.

Hope everyone has a good day.
