***Monday Roll Call***
Theoretically it's two minutes before midnight...so I'm early.
Well monday was supposed to be a day of rest and relaxation and doing nothing but spending time with hubby and putzing around the house doing laundry.
However....my alternator decided to blow tonight
So....we will spend the day working on my car, in the rain, replacing it. Brian says he can do it. Not that I don't trust the boy....but well...I don't trust the boy. So it will be a day of Brian going

and me responding appropriately by....
However, things do work out for a reason. I have off again tomorrow night so there's no rush to get it done. Secondly, Brian has to go back and forth to jersey tue/wed/thurs so chances are if my car died during that time frame, it would have been on the way to or from work and I wouldn't have even been able to call him for help. At least we were together, he was able to milk it home for me, and he can *possibly* fix it so I don't have to have the mechanic do it.
So...that's it for me!

Pam, I am with ya on that one. I am the same way. If they say they can do it, it's stress womdering if they really can, and stress because you know the irritation, and cursing you are about to endure because of it.....LOL. Hope today goes well with it and no other issues come up.
I am up at the wee hours waiting for my pain meds to kick in. I am having alot of discomfort but otherwise I am doing well. And so is he. I may be headed home this evening. If not, then tomorrow morning.
My day consists of laying around in hospital, having surgery around 1:00, then recover and chill to see if I go home or stay.
Hope everyone enjoys this gloomy day. And thanks so much to everyone for the thoughts and well wishes in the "Welcome Jantzen" post. He is a beautiful and sweet baby. Very pleasant and a quiet crier. LOL.

Today is supposed to be a volunteer day. However, I am not doing that today. I have to make a decision regarding this injury I have to my hand. I had cut myself pretty bad last week on a broken mirror. The cut has healed but it is swollen and I fear an infection is under the skin. It isn't red but the swelling is about the size of a quarter. I don't have insurance until May. Anyway, I don't want to hurt it worse.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
Rainy days and Mondays really get me.... ooh wait.. just looked out the window and it's not raining. YET.. so maybe it's not really Monday yet either. Okay okay, a girl can dream, can't she? But a great thing about today is that SIEHARA FINALLY GOES BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!! She has been off since April 8 for Passover. So, it will be FANTASTIC to kiss her goodbye as she heads to the bus!! WOO HOO!!!
Today has me working 6:30-3:00 instead of the normal 7-3:30 because Siehara has a dr's appt at 3:45. We are going to the pediatrician to discuss her progress with her ADHD meds. They are definitely helping, but we also DEFINITELY need a dosage increase again. She is still not where I would like her to be. She had some real issues yesterday. I have a consult with a Psychologist tomorrow to talk about the issues she has been having. I think there is more going on than just the ADHD/ODD. I wouldn't be surprised if she has bipolar disease. We need to take care of this now. There is family history and I don't want to see her go down the road my mother and sister did. I want to nip it now and get it under control. It makes me so sad to watch her going through this.
After her appointment, we are going to come home and have dinner. I told her I'd make spaghetti with meat sauce. I'll just make a little bit of spaghetti for her and I'll eat the sauce. I'm SOOO not ready to even think about trying pasta yet. SO not worth it.
After dinner, there is a program at the Jewish Community Center for Holocaust Rememberance Day and Siehara and the school choir will be singing there. It will be a solemn program, but an important one. Please take a minute today to remember that horrific event that has touched so many lives.

I am at work today 6:30-4 then I am stopping at K-mart - certain stores are doubling up to a $2 coupon so I am going to take advantage of that! I have several $2 and $1.50 off and well that doubled is NICE!
Chris and I got a lot done over the weekend and spent some much neded time together - still not feeling myself but headed in teh right direction!
Not liking the rain today, but we need it and well at least it is raining on a monday and not the weekend.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I had a busy one, so I'll at work "resting" haha
Yesterday I had a baby shower to go to and my best friend and I decided to have some "before" pictures taken. She starts her 10 day liquid diet today and has her surgery April 30.
She emailed the pictures to me and I guess I really don't see myself as being so big. But pics don't lie. All the more reason for me to be on this journey.

Good morning all - what is up with this weather? Beautiful weekend - back into the cold, windy, rainy misery this morning? Blech! Should have stayed in bed.
Weekend was awesome - got lots of running around done and some shopping - mom treated me to a pedicure yesterday and she got one, too - nice 'girls' day. Last night hubby and I met some friends for dinner who I haven't seen since before my surgery - got a two-sided compliment - one was 'you're nothing but skin and bones now' - I think that was the compliment because it was backed up with 'you have a lot of wrinkles now' - um, okay - whatever! Good thing she can't see all the wrinkles and loose skin or she would have really had a comment!!
Today I'm at work til 2:00 then leaving for my annual mammo, then off to Curves to work out. I got there Saturday and rode my bike yesterday so I'm trying to get back into a good fitness routine. Wish me luck!
Hope everyone has a great day, and good luck with the car, Pam - thankfully my husband is finally old enough to realize he can't fix things like that anymore so I don't have to listen to all the colorful language while he tries to do it!

Happy Monday everyone...well, maybe not happy, but it is Monday unfortunately!!!
I finally had a good night's sleep after not getting too much rest over the weekend because of going out and having a blast with the girls and then my husband!!! But it was well worth it. And I of course had a blast!!
Today has me getting Connor off to school and then coming back home to get showered to head downtown with my MIL. She needs to go to City Hall to pick up a divorce decree. Then I will come home and get some much needed work done.
Tonight it's off to a pocketbook demo with my best girls!!! Looking very forward to hanging out and checking out some cute pocketbooks!!!
