I called the doctor
Hi Belinda,
You're doing the right things by contacting the doctor and staying hydrated. The best thing to remember now is that the stricture, if that's the problem, is repairable in relatively short order. You're journey continues and successing is yours! Take it easy and realize that nothing is out of your grasp.

Deprived? Are you kidding? Deprivation ended September 20th, 2005.

Keep us updated, Belinda. Do the best you can over the weekend. If it gets way to bad and you can't keep absolutely positively anything down for a long amount of time (I'd say about 12+ hours) I'd call the doc back and then get to the er at least for some fluids.
The er nurses will tell you that you are not dehydrated. And they are probably right. But the risk is there in a very short amount of time.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
