Surgery 4 weeks from today!!!

Hello Everyone!  I'm so glad to find a pennsylvania forum!!
I am having Lap RNY 4 weeks from today!!!   Got the date last week and was intially TERRIFIED- not sleeping, so anxious, etc.   

Since yesterday I had a nutrition class, nurse educator class,  pulmonologist, cardiologist and weight loss study for PCOS appts (yikes!  so many appts in 2 days).     The appts, especially the short time with the nurse educator and nutritionist, have made me feel better and more comfortable with my decision to get the surgery.     I also will not hesitate to get some meds for the anxiety along the way, if needed.

I have an echocardiogram and CAV (?) on the 20th and pre admit testing/ surgeon appt on the 15th, then surgery on 4/28!!!!!  

Anyone else having surgery in April??

Cool- glad to meet someone else who had Dr Wernsing.  How did you like him?  How long ago was your surgery??

Congrats!   You've had a lot on your plate this week - what whirlwind.  And it is all just beginning!  Hang on for a wild ride!!!

Congratulations!! All those doctor appts will help take your mind off the upcoming surgery! It is a whirlwind of activity up to that date - and you're going to be fine. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Congratulations !! Glad you found this board. Great luck with you upcoming surgery, wishing smooth sailing and quick recovery. My surgery was just on March 20, so I am still in recovery mode. Welcome. Belinda
