MOrning All!!!

I have BIG plans for today - I need to clean up the yard picking up sticks and burning them. I am going to try and manhandle the rototiller and get the garden done so I can plant the lettuce, spinach and broccoli, hubby has requested pizza for dinner so I have to get the dough going, I need to clean out my closet, oh and do laundry... by then Chris and his brither should be back from getting the pool table and I'll have to clear the way for it to get to the basement.

HAve a great day all!

Good Morning Pam,
I am so sorry for your loss.  You and Brian will be in my prayers.  It could be that your irratic emotions are related to the loss and the pending memorial activities today.  Losses like this bring up stuff and add stress to our lives, even if we don't realize it.

I had a very productive Saturday, so busy I did not check in here at all.  Took a walk, got some shopping done, had dinner with my son and attended my AA meeting.

Today has me feeling kinds of funky, like a prissy pouch.  And, I am still battling some reisdual ear pain.  I intend to get to church this morning, and then tidy and spread some mulch I bought last night.  While I had my son with me at dinner, we scooted over to Home Depot and he loaded the mulch in my car.  I can drag it from my car to the garden, I just can't lift the darn things.  I also intend to get to my AA meeting and do some more tidying this evening.

I am just loving this weather...I hope Spring stays for good.

Huggles,
Trish

It's very possible, Trish.  Add to it that his parents are also giving us a LOT of trouble lately - probably some of which is related to their stress regarding the death (it was Brian's father's father who passed) but mostly just them playing their old games and attempting to control everything we do.  We have decided not to fight the battle until after today's service is done out of respect for the family - but after today - it's pretty scary of what could happen.  I think that is weighing us down as well.  And add to that me returning to work during all this - it's just not a fun time all around.

Thanks for the prayers, it really helps to know friends are around!

Pam

Now that you mention the in-laws, your emotions are definitely understandable.  Be sure to rest, and take your vitamins, and if necessary, leave and take a walk when the heat is on.

Prayers and hugs,
Trish

Thanks so much, Norm, it means a lot to us.

Good morning Pam and all..

Hope today goes ok for everyone... I was thinking that the moodiness could be a sign of something happier... something that cries, needs feeding, changing, hugging and kissing??

OR, it could just be the stress of everything going on in your lives right now.  Whichever it is, I hope you are all able to deal with it the best way you can.

As for me, today my daughter was just picked up by her brother and sister to spend the day together.  I think they are starting out at Chuck E Cheese... better them than me, I HATE that place!  I will do some packing this morning and then I am going to a Pampered Chef party this afternoon.   Later on, Siehara wants to have a play date with one of her friends,so I'll have to talk to the parents and see what's up with that.  She doesn't have school tomorrow due to in-service, so she is hoping to sleep over at the friend's house and then have a play date with someone else tomorrow during the day.  That is all fine and dandy with me because then I can pack without hearing the I'm Bored song all day long.

I need to tackle her stuff and would like for her to help me sort through some of her toys so we can get rid of stuff, but I can manage if I have to... she'll just have much less stuff than if she helps me.. LOL!! My garbage man is going to be BUSY this week!

I sorted through my dressers today and got rid of a bunch of stuff that I know won't fit for much longer.  I still need to go through the closet and do the same thing.  I don't want to get rid of everything yet, because some of it is still passable, especially for working from home.

Other than that, the only thing on my agenda today is making sure I get my fluids in.  I need to keep track of what is going in my mouth.  That is the one thing that I will honestly say I have not done since I got out of surgery and I need to get on the ball with it.

Hope everyone has a great day!
